The location of the property was perfect. Lovely setting and very impressive building. We found the staff to be very friendly, welcoming and helpful and the facilities available were an added bonus.
Although the apartment was very well situated within the grounds and was the perfect size for our stay, as well as being well furnished, we did find the decor a little 'tired' looking in places. We also found that some of the kitchen equipment could benefit from being replaced, such as the teaspoons, which had metal coating flaking on the handles - as a result, we were reluctant to use to stir our tea or coffee with them and we also noted, although we never used it, that the toaster had a broken knob. That said, we do understand that a degree of wear and tear is to be expected and, to be fair, our stay was pretty much at the end of the season.

This property is truly amazing. The character and history in itself would make this a must accommodation for anyone visiting the town but when you add the location on the banks of Loch Ness and the short walk to the Locks/town centre, the magical facilities in the Club lounge and the swimming pool area, the whole experience is absolutely brilliant. Charles was a perfect and informative host. The apartment was large, well equipped and very clean. The value for money is staggering. We loved eating at The Boathouse Restaurant with its views up the loch.
There was nothing that we did not like.

The whole thing was just amazing, just what we needed! No 24/7 reception? Who needs that anymore! We had all the privacy, the spa+swimming pool was not crowded at all, sometimes was just us two. Place was so quiet and relaxing. Will surely go back someday!

Self catering excellent location potentially a very good apartment
The sofa was very poor and let down an otherwise good self catering flat
The bedside table was cheap and definitely not up to £135 per night standard
The heating was off for 24 hours due to some issue on site. We flagged this up when we got back to a cooling flat but this was not fixed until the following day. Apparently due to a misunderstanding, but had the manager checked backed with us by phone or email he would have been aware that the heating was still off after several hours. Only after we complained the following day was this sorted
At best, this was too casual a response to our initial call.

Absolutely gorgeous building and well adapted apartment with everything you could need. Modern, well kept facilities in a beautiful setting. Very friendly, welcoming staff.
Nothing to dislike

Pity covid restrictions meant couldn't use pool etc which can't helped. Building and location stunning. Lovely see the wild bunnies and ducklings
The apartment was really just for 2 people, we had 3. Bath was very small, beds uncomfortable and the stairs too much for one of the party. Appliance manuals should be in the welcome folder, found them in a drawer our last day

Really handy location, lovey peaceful spot, welcoming staff, good parking, nice village.
On arrival it wasn't easy to see where to go to check in, it isn't sign posted and is round the side and down a staircase. If another guest hadn't shown me where to do I would have had to phone for info.

The accommodation was out dated needs complete redecorating very dirty around all doors, electricaly fittings, floors all really dirty.
