Room was clean

There was an error in booking.com app resulting in a double paid booking for same night. Hotel refused to credit second booking even though paid twice for the same night of stay.

The location has potential.

Nobody speaks English!!! The hotel is presenting the rooms with double beds, but in reality it is a SOFA! Uncomfortable sofa! Dirty floor in the room. Very poor breakfast!

Original room smelt of foul drains. Moved after a serious discussion! No coffee or kettle at breakfast! We were asked to move to another hotel for our last night (after staying 6 nights) as they had overbooked with some new guests!! One room was not cleaned for one day!

The room itself was lovely but very very plain. They can’t decide if they are self catering or a hotel and seem to do both badly Had a self service launderette which was handy

Be very careful when driving down to the property, there is a dip in the road and it is very bad if you vehicle is low.

New room with new facilities. It was clean and relatively quiet. Internet worked well.

Late check-in was okay. We just wished they would have told us that the room access cards are at the desk and not available via automated check-in at the machine at the entrance of the compound as announced. The number given by issues was not manned by an English speaking person and left us quite frustrated. Altogether we found the pictures and the impression about the place not to be accurate. We had the impression that this is a good hotel with some luxury. However, it is more or less a very basic hotel. For the remoteness of major tourist attractions, we would have expected either higher quality or a lower price.
