Very friendly greeting upon arrival with good orientation to the property which was very comfortable and well equipped, including a bed that gave us a good night's sleep. We anticipated that it would be a fair walk into the heart of Cassis, so were not disappointed by a walk of 30-40 minutes from the nearby parking area at the forest. There is traffic noise from the nearby roadway when sitting out on the deck, but the view of Cap Canaille and the ocean offsets that consideration. There's no noise in the bedroom and none to speak of when in the indoor living area, especially with the sliding door to the patio closed. This is such a lovely area....be sure not to miss the drive from La Ciotat to Cassis over the Cap (seems best to go this direction so as to save the views over Cassis for the end of the drive) or the reasonably priced boat trips from the port to see Les Calanques from the sea!

Though apparently beyond Patricia's control, as there had been a big electrical storm the day prior to our arrival, there was no wi-fi for the two days we were there--quite a disappointment as we looked forward to having secure access during our stay after several days staying in properties with open networks. Other than this minor disappointment, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property!

Spacious, clean and attractive apartment in quiet location with balcony and lovely small pool to cool off at end of day. Owner was welcoming and friendly. Cassis is beautiful and feels very French, with a colourful market.

It was a fair distance uphill on the edge of town, resulting in lots of walking in the heat. We finally succeeded in flagging down the bus outside the residence on our last day (they will usually speed past the stop because there are rarely any customers waiting) by standing over the road from the stop to make ourselves more visible by gesticulating to the driver as he came speeding down the hill into town.

Great villa with pool for kids to unwind. Need a car to go to the centre of town - would be too far to walk - not sure if bus options? Highly recommend for family with a car.
