Awesome pool area with lots of chairs, recliners, and shade cover if you want it. Restaurant served awesome food. Bathrooms were nice and the showers had hot water.

They installed a keypad on the dorm rooms for added security (which is awesome) but it beeps quite loudly and makes a big noise when it unlocks and locks itself again.

there were shower curtains, I find myself feeling a lot safer with showers in little cabins of at least with a door.

Nice hostel, good vibe in our dorm, good water-pressure in the showers. You can use the kitchen of the neighbour hostel.

There can be a lot of seagrass on the beach...makes swimming impossible and smells very bad. Check before you go.

Best hostel so far after 3 weeks in Central America. First of all, great outside pool with sunchairs. This a hostel/hotel/bar & restaurant, so you have everything you need in one place. It was really clean, in a great location, super friendly and helpful staff (my ferry to MX got cancelled and they gave me great advice on how to move on), happy hour deals, good WiFi, separate showers and bathrooms, free water refills. The beds had lockers under them, some locker doors were really small and could not fit a big backpack, some could. Also, each bed had privacy cutrains, little table for your personal items & power outlets, reading light, free towels. No wonder it is hard to book a stay here, for 15 USD this is an amazing place! I arrived here from San Ignacio, and random people (locals) in the bus were all recommending Sandbar when they heard I am headed to San Pedro, so, you know this place is famous and for a very good reason!

At 8 am all the water in the showers/toilets suddenly dissapeared, maybe it was an issue with the central system, or too many guests using it at once. Luckily I get up early, so I could shower, but it could be an unpleasant surprise if it happens often. Take care!

Everything. Amazing place, don’t think it about, just book it. However long you’re thinking of staying, double it. Everyone I’ve met there has or wanted to extend their stay, including me. Will definitely be coming back.

This is a really nice located hostel. The beds are good, with a curtain and the pool is nice. It's clean

Nice staff. Good location by the beach. Free paddle boards. Free drinking water.

The steps to the upper beds are tricky. The AC was insanely cold at night. People were sleeping with their towels on top of their sheets, but still freezing.

The staff with the hotel was amazing. Helped me rearrange my reservation due to a change in my schedule. The place is well located. Nice pool.

The staff at the restaurant was rude. There's a lot of people and somewhat loud and busy. Great for some people.

love love love this place. perfect location right on the beach, and by the main centre of San Pedro. Staff all really happy helpful people. really clean safe - just a brilliant place

Good location and our room had a wonderful balcony with a view of the sea.

Most of the staff seemed pretty unhappy, almost impossible to even get a hello or a smile! And it’s super noisy. People yelling during the night and music blaring from 7.30am on some mornings.

It is very clean and the location is great. You can't beat a beachfront hostel and the vibe is super chill. They have a nice bar and restaurant connected to it. I was going to stay 2 nights, but stayed about a week there. Whats cool is that they also have free SUP and you can head out from the dock seconds away. Free drinking water!

The only negative thing was that the cleaning ladies in the morning were pressuring people to get up and check out. It felt like a turn and burn situation, which I thought was rude. They made noise early and swept their broom by the beds of people checking out to get them up. The peaked into my bed 3 times.

Really good hostel. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. The pool area was very nice. In the dorm, they have curtains all over the bed. The bathroom is nice and clean with hot water. Very good location. Staff helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that the kitchen was in another hostel and sometimes the door was closed and the code didn't work. However, I would highly recommend that hostel.
