i loved how close Hotel Maritza was to every thing and how amazing the owner is

Location of the hotel is great. 1-2 minutes walk from the beach and really close to restaurants, bars and the beach. The breakfast was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

There was a cockroach issue in the property. It's understandable after such heavy rain and since the property is on the ground floor, but maybe it could be somehow tackled.

The room was spacious and had great air conditioning. Loved the addition of a refrigerator so we would have some snacks. There was a lovely hammock outside the room to relax on. Breakfast in Panpay was included which had 3 choices which we were very happy with.

We liked everything about this place. The location is the best, you can hear and see the ocean from your room. The food was great, the staff were amazing and the room was super clean and had everything we needed. There was a common kitchen outside which we didn't need but overall this is the best hotel we've stayed at in a long time. Would definitely go back anytime I have the chance.

Loved everything.

Comfortable bed, soft pillows, tv with multiple cable channels, proximity to beach, bar next to hotel plays music outside attracting a nice size party crowd. The breakfast coupon for PanPay Bakery is an awesome value!

There are gaps under the door and in the AC wall which make it easier for insects to come in. Like most places in Costa Rica, hot water is really "not cold water". The water in the sink is warmer than the shower. Room is in desperate need of darker curtains. Can hear neighbors and running water from nearby plumbing.

The breakfast is a 30 second walk down the road to a restaurant called Pan Pay. It has ocean views and the 3 choices for the included breakfast were just fine. The waitress was super friendly and we tipped her well as the breakfasts were free and wonderful.

No complaints, property is great and staff super friendly. If I had to think of something, it would be to provide ice for guests.
