Richtige Fenster wären schon sinnvoll, da die Fliegengitter alleine nicht soviel Ruhe mit sich bringen. Für empfindliche Personen daher ungeeignet.

Anabelle, the owner, is amazing! She is so kind and was always there to help you with anything! She gave me all the recommendations on what to do, where to eat etc.. The room is good, very clean. I loved the rustic style of the property, it felt like the real Caribbean! The location is just perfect!

I felt at home from the moment I entered this beautiful oasis. Annabelle and Irene are lovely and incredibly helpful. It was the perfect spot to explore the area and still have some quiet sleep.

It would be great if there was a glass / curtain in the shower.

Very authentic Caribbean house. Room with a lot of nice details. Quiet area . Very friendly and helpful hosts.

Shower and toilet are in the room, so no privacy. A curtain would be helpful. No hooks or shelf, cupboard at all to place cloth or wet towels.

I highly suggest Casa Boho- I extended my stay and didn't want to leave. The location is perfect- it's a short walk to all the stuff in town, without the noise. Easy to bike to/from, especially to Playa Cocles. The room looks exactly like the photos, it was very was clean, and had all you would need for a short stay. Annabelle is SO lovely- she really makes folks feel welcome, especially solo travellers. She also made some great puerto viejo suggestions and has friends that run eco friendly / local owned tours or other local activities. She has a lot of great plans to make the hotel even better than it already is so I can't wait to come back and see it all once it is completed, ie a new kitchen, the yoga spot, other eco projects. Stay here :)

Sound proofing could be improved, but it wasn't that bad. If you are sensitive to noise, just bring earbuds. And touch more hanging space for clothes would be helpful, which I know she is already building :).

Sustainable and conscious travelers will feel at home. Super well renewed. Anabelle is an amazing host, super attentive. the location is walking distance from the main shops and restaurants. across the street from pretty beach and walks. Hummingbirds and other friendly animals are always around the house, which make this place a little paradise.

Everything was great.

The Staff is very friendly. The Location good since it’s not right in the middle of everything and therefore a bit more quite. the property itself is very beautifully designed and feels very cozy.

The private bathroom is part of the room and not separated by a wall. for us this was a bit hard to see on the photos before. the windows (fully covered with mosquito nets) don’t close properly so the nets don’t have an effect. the room has no night stand lamp. so it’s either beaming light from the ceiling or darkness which makes it feel not as cozy as it could be.

Cris who worked there was so friendly and helpful. Also he was very motivated that everything is clean and the kitchen has a good equipment. There are also good possibilities to sit and chill in the evenings.

The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything from the neighbour rooms and from outside (although it's located in a quiet area)

We felt at home right away, relaxing vibes, super clean, comfy bed and Cris is an awesome host.We totally recommend this place its a quite little oasis in the center of the town.

Best stay during our travel. The host Chris is really nice and helps you with everything you need. Everything is really clean and there is a great atmosphere. The room is even better than in the pictures. I would 100% recommend this hostel.

Chris and Mati are lovely hosts! They helped and advised us a lot. Whole place has chill vibe, rooms are basic and definitely not soundproof but that's a part of a charm. Location is one of the best in Puerto Viejo, beautiful beach right next to the hostel with a sloth hanging near the entrance! Garden around is stunning and even without going out you can see lots of animals and plants. Price is really reasonable and coffee made by Mati in the morning was delicious!
