3.0
Rural surrounding, beautiful nature, kind staff.
Too many mascots.
4.5
The location and the peace of the surroundings.
Nothing that we didn't like.

The owner, Mariola, is a very friendly and helpful lady. The property is small and cosy, very dog friendly, and it has a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. You can make day trips to major tourist attractions like El Escorial or take a hike in the mountains.
The rooms are pretty small.

The location is very easy for train travel and for reaching the hiking areas in Las Dehesas. The garden around the historic building is charming and the breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly, and accommodating with regard to keeping our luggage there before check in and after check out.
Things were quiet overall but the walls are quite thin and I heard someone in the next room snoring... and other rooms' doors being shut or opened. Also, we checked in at the hotel instead of online and it was a very slow process. We don't know if it was the computer or if the person helping us normally doesn't handle it (being as it was early) but it took a long time.

It is such a lovely and cozy place to stay, the lady is super kind and helpful as well. And an extra bonus for us was the super sweet and friendly dog that belongs there. Will definitely keep this place in mind for the future again. Highly recommend if you just want to have a cozy weekend away.

My friend and I loved everything about this hotel. We did a short overnight stay from Madrid so that we could enjoy the fresh mountain air and hikes in the area. The woman who runs reception is so lovely and helpful. She explained the history of the property and gave us tips for the area. The property is just off of the main road, but very quiet. They have nice outdoor seating to enjoy the cool evenings in the summer. The breakfast was delicious and we were able to leave our bags during the day while we hiked, which was great!
4.0
The character of the building and the terraza.
It gets too noisy early morning with road traffic next door. Room next to stairs and reception gets all the noise.
4.5
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They wanted our stay to be a very happy experience. It's in a great location opposite the train station and very close to the bus stop for Madrid. Even so, it is very quiet. It is also an excellent base for some well marked mountain walks.
Breakfast was very good and there was a bottle of wine and a small fridge in the room.
We really enjoyed our stay and will return.
It's a shame that there isn't any parking but that's not the owner's fault. We were able to park in a small car park at the bottom of the hill about 100m away.

Breakfast: very good value for money.
Location: great if you arrive by train - it is literally across the road from the railway station.
Excellent walks of varying difficulty in the local area, starting right on the doorstep of the property.
The staff were very kind and helpful.
Being an old property, the sound proofing of the rooms isn't of "modern standards", but nothing that a good pair of earplugs cannot deal with, so we slept perfectly well regardless.

Everything.
There was nothing that I did not like.

The breakfast was incredibly delicious and the staff super friendly. The location is also unbeatable, we'd love to stay here again! Loved being able to hear birdsong and the river right from our room.

Everything! But I would like to give special thanks to Mariola and Belem they were too specials with us especially with our daughter one million of THANKS!
4.5
The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The food served in the restaurant was exceptional, with all of the ingredients fresh and locally sourced. The location was perfect for us, close to all the main hiking trails. Will definitely stay there again next time we visit Cercedilla.
4.4
Price/quality excellent. We loved the terrace for common use and the surroundings of the nature. Very close to the mountain route, and the train station.
The room was next to the reception so we could hear literally everything. The tv was behind our backs, so we had to move the bed to see it.
