beautiful location and view from the room, overlooking the Mediterranean… just exceptional view spacious size of room. breakfast on terrace was just amazing some team members are great in connecting with guests (Naming Therese and Omar) try having breakfast on the terrace if weather permits, just beautiful scenery. overall highly recommended location and venue, and hopefully we see more improvement in future

Responding to guest messages was prompt and quick enough. we texted the hotel to get direction and instructions on where to park and how luggage will be handled, but got the response after we checked in. we had to do some self exploration. Reception team is a bit laid back and give you a cold impression (ready to give more details but don’t want to share here). breakfast buffet is ok, though some items didn’t look fresh. Bed board fabric is faded and needs refurbishment. paint was peeled off the main wall of the room. 2 missing make up items from my mother kit.

we had the junior suite with direct view on the ocean, from our own balcony we could not just watch the fishing boats coming and going but also see big sea turtles, amazing! though Tyre has a fantastic long and broad beach it is great to have the hotel's own little bay and direct access to the water including sun beds and sweet water outside shower. great location, tasty interior and super helpful and friendly staff... what else could you ask for!

Excellent location, food, drinks, and comfort

When we arrived, a man at reception told us we absolutely had to pay in US dollars and couldn’t pay in Lebanese lira. (I also received this same message on Booking.com saying we had to pay in dollars.) This is illegal to my knowledge: Hotels in Lebanon must always accept the local currency. So we chose to pay upon check out. When we checked out, a wan was at reception and told us we could pay in either US dollars or Lebanese lira. So it seems like some of the staff is discriminating against foreigners. For this reason, I don’t recommend staying at Dar Alma they adopt a transparent payment policy that treats locals and foreigners the same.
