Room was quiet and comfortable

Its a nice place. Obviously an old pub feel to it, but all good.

Stairs, but I had a bad knee. You get that.

The complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise,

The disabled bathroom was a great size, but the water from the shower went all over the floor, the shower screen needs to be adhered to the floor to stop the water pooling under it

the bistro was great and the food exceptional for a regional pub

the rooms are large and very clean. the walls are paper thin and no extras like tissues etc. needs a major update.

too noisey. no windows to get fresh air

The ladies (at the bar) we met on day one and two were very helpful and very friendly. No road noise.

The noise from next door. Noisy / smoking workers next door right outside room from very early in the morning. Walking through bars to get to and from room /car. The parking. People banging doors late night/early morning. The cleaner bursting in the room with "do not disturb" on the door. The smoking that happened outside bathroom windows that don't close. The night security light that illuminated room all night. Needed to close bathroom door all night to block out some of the lights.
