Great position really close to the beach, where you can have one of the best surf experience. Also near to restaurant, supermarket and parking. Luis is a very nice guy and host, we shared dinners and beers with him, had good time in this surf house. Surf lessons are great!

Our stay at the surf house was above over expectations. Location is perfect to reach easily the beach and groceries/restaurants near by. Structure is also really nice and clean! Last but not least, the owner and surf instructor, Luis, has been amazing with us: he treated us really well, he took us out to eat Portuguese food with him and he was really good teaching us surf and skate. Good people, good vibes and good place. Couldn't ask for more!!

This place is great! So close to the beach, grocery store, and night life with nice restaurants. Luis was an excellent host- multi lingual, very kind, and in good spirits. The surfboards for rent are in new condition with plenty of variety. Everyone there surfs and joined us in the water. Pleasantly surprised at the amount they clean the property. I saw the guys doing multiple sweeps of the common areas during the day, and the bathrooms and bedrooms were all spotless.

Highly recommend! Luis went out of his way to make people feel welcome & gives great surf lessons. Good vibe and cool people at the hostel. Kitchen was well equipped and location is super close to the beach! Coming back for sure!

a great experience. although i traveled alone, i felt like i was at home with my friends. Luis is great! We surfed, we skated, we had dinner together! I recommend everyone to go to him if you are in Baleal, Peniche.

I did not like that I discovered this house late and that I was there for a short time! But I'll be back!

Luis is a very hospitably and friendly host, he really cares about his guests. I had a nice stay at his house. He is also a very good and competent surf instructor, I enjoyed the surf lessons with him. Luis is always trying to give good advices to improve the own skills.

Luis is an amazing host! I was the only guest that night and he shared his dinner with me while answering all my questions about surfing. I had one of the best surf lessons with him, and he even gave me amazing tips about surfskating. All of his advices are really valuable, and he really welcomed me with a big heart and a big smile. I definitely recommend staying there!

The host, Luis, was genuinely a great and kind person. Definitely I would stay again with him when I visit Peniche again!

Hands down the best hostel I could have ended up! Instantly felt like home, everyone was super nice and welcoming, felt like we had known each other for years. Loved it so much that I ended up extending my stay. My first solo travel/hostel experience and I could have not asked for more. The owner, Luis is such a chill guy, took us out for surf classes and sushi, cannot beat that haha Thank you so much, will be back soon 👊🏼

It is a real cool Surf House! We loved to surf there just 5 minutes walking and you easily can rent the surf gear there. There is a Tennis place just beside and you can rent it for 1-2 hours at the neighbour (he is quite old & so friendly & has a cute dog!<3) for 7€ per hour. Luis gave us a lot of recommendations and was really friendly and easy to contact per WhatsApp. In the evening when it gets fresher you can do a fire in the Chemine, just awesome! :) We felt like home! Thanks Luis! :)

It is quite cold in the house, bedrooms. so if it is summer no worries but in our time it was rainy outside so not that warm inside. we had the Chemine for warming up.:) all good so far.

The location is excellent. Very close to the beach so it's possible to walk by without having a car. The neighbourhood is quiet. There are a small market, bars and restaurants nearby. The bed was very comfy and the staff was available and nice.

I didn't had towels available. The room blinds don't isolate the light in the morning. The WC ran out of toilet paper. There wasn't anyone to do the check out.

Amazing stay comfortable and chill! Louis is really welcoming me and gives me all informations and help i need.. espesially for surfing.

Hostel Owner luis is a cool and friendly guy with lots of local tips in peniche. The house is located 2 minutes from good surfspots and you can switch boards daily (boards in the hostel). Good vibe and a personal touch
