Morakot Lanta Resort is a place where you can find great services for a reasonable price. The resort is located perfectly - both close to the picturesque Long Beach and to the "main street" with many restaurants and other important facilities, yet in a very quiet area surrounded by forrest. Outside pool is also a big plus. When it comes to the hotel itself, rooms are quite modest, but very clean and equipped with all the necessities. Bed is rather firmer, but definitely comfortable and small patio is also an advantage. There is a space for improvement for sure - e.g. AC shouldn't be placed right above the bed, and small lamps next to the bed are missing (lighting of the room is a bit strong), so something softer would be appreciated. The hotel staff truly cares about your comfort and they go above and beyond to meet your needs, everyone was really kind and attentive. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay here and I would highly recommend it.

Everything! The staff, the pool, the air con, the large fridge, the balcony and view, the garden, the poolside bar. The location of the hotel is excellent too... few mins walk from supermarket, ATM, water machine, bars and restaurants. (Papaya, Papillon and Weena are all excellent!) Beach is only 10 mins walk. The hotel also organized a tuk tuk for us when needed. Super helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The owner in particular is excellent and speaks very good English :)

Beds are hard and showers are Thai style (very low pressure) but both things very normal for Thailand.

Comfortable room, with useful extra such as hairdryer, kettle, black-out curtains, and large fridge-freezer. Good airconditioning and hot shower. Lovely pool and sunbathing area. Helpful staff. Useful travel desk for scooter hire and taxi/boat bookings. Quiet environment yet close to main road, beach, mini-markets, and tourist facilities (restaurants, bars etc). You do need a scooter to make the most of your stay on Koh Lanta - Part of the fun of your trip!

Nice cleaning staff but they can be rather noisy in the mornings if you are a lazy tourist like me and want to have a lie in! Bottles of water are provided every day, but it would be really great if this was changed to a free water dispenser on each floor for filling up your own bottles, in order to cut down on plastic waste (and expense for the hotel).

There's a really nice swimming pool. It's clean and quiet. The family that run it we're very friendly and welcoming.

You have to cross a busy road to get to the beach

Great location back off the main road ..nice and quiet. Pool was awesome and the owners are super friendly and helpful. Also rented a scooter from them so made our orig 3 day visit into a week stay..Lovely!

We loved the place..nothing bad to say at all!
