Excellent accueil. Petits-déjeuners faits maison, variés et très bons. Grande souplesse sur l’horaire du petit-déjeuner. Hôtesse très charmante, disponible et à l’écoute. Et bien situé en centre-ville.

Malheureusement, deux soirées perturbées par la musique du pub voisin, samedi et mercredi soir. Heureusement, la musique s’est arrêtée une fois à 23h et l’autre fois à minuit. La douche est un peu petite.

Nothing to dislike

Room was very nicely decorated and very clean. Tea/coffee available and thoughtful snacks provided as a nice treat. On the smaller side but perfectly comfortable as someone staying on their own. Delicious breakfast was left outside the door in the morning after the host asked my preference the day before. Didn't meet the host but her instructions were completely clear and she was available to contact if there were any issues.

Unfortunately the venue below the B&B was loud into the early hours of the morning and did delay me sleeping. Walls are not particularly thick so I was disturbed by some guests arriving at 3am but i suppose this was just bad luck on this occasion. Earplugs were provided though!

Really good communication, facilities, bed,shower, extras etc. Great position and access.

Noise from surrounding businesses spoilt the stay, 2am before things quietened down, then clock tower chiming every 15 minutes throughout the night. I understand that it is probably a listed building, but an upgrade of the beautiful sash windows would make a massive difference an reduce the very invasive outside noise. Brilliant place though.

Very small room with too much furniture, barely no space to move. Unfortunately the room had a very soft sprung mattress, so you could feel all the hard bumps and was awfully uncomfortable. There was a pub right under our room and we were unable to sleep until 2 am because of the noise of people drinking and screaming. We requested 2 beds which was approved but got only one, which made things a bit awkward for me and my friend, we got a 10 pound refund as compensation.

We were amazed at how thoroughly the room was appointed and prepared. Thoughtfulness was everywhere with lovely linens, extra throws, extra food/snacks. The breakfast outside the door was beautifully prepared and tasted fab.

The room was spotless and had so many extra little touches. Breakfast was spot on and delivered exactly on time. Bathroom was immaculate too.

Nothing bad. Only one criticism would be there were no mugs or spoons in our room. It wasn’t a problem at all though. We could have called but we managed fine. It was a genuine oversight and our stay was so good.
