We liked everything! The host were extremely friendly, helpful and nice. Apartment was so clean, smelled really great and sleeping was so comfortable. Breakfast yeasty and in a great restaurant with a wonderful view! All recommendations!

Very great apartment, we even had free Nespresso coffee. The owner was great as well, gave us recommendations for restaurants, free bus passes, printed tickets for us and was available nearby 24/7. We had a perfect stay and can totally recommend this place!

Everything was totally perfect.

The owner/hostess was extremely helpful and friendly. She speaks hardly any English and we speak only a tiny bit of Macedonian, but we managed to communicate well and she did everything she could to help us - including loaning pans from her own kitchen. Also, views of the Lake are amazing, the area is quiet, and the free breakfast at the restaurant a few km away was a nice bonus.

The location is perfect. You indeed need to drive more because it is located on a high hill, but this offers you the perfect view of Ohrid Lake. The breakfast was also good, but you need to drive down, near the lake, in a reservation park. It totally deserves the ride. The restaurant has also a beautiful view.

The only issue was the wi-fi connection because it didn't cover also our apartment. But if you go in front of the building, you get a good connection.

We didn't quite expect what a beautiful view we would get. We had the apartment on the top floor, with a large new balcony overseeing Ohrid lake and mountains on the Albanian side of the like. The room was really perfect: spacious, very clean, comfortable beds, all the things we needed were there. When we arrived we couldn't find a reception, but we were helped by a hostess, a woman who was so friendly and nice that we will never forget her. She didn't speak English, but she showed us everything and with gestures and smiles she explained us everything. Later she gave us prumes, and came waving and smiling at us everytime we left or arrived. We very much appreciated our contact, even though we didn't speak the same language :)

You have to drive 5km and pay parking to get to breakfast restaurant.

Beautiful and modernly furnished new villa with a stunning high view of the lake. Rooms are very clean and spacious. A splendid balcony with a 360 degree view! High quality furniture, comfortable beds, excellent toilet, a lots of towels and toiletries. Practical covered private parking inside the property. The host lady Jovanka is really very special. What a wonderful welcome, offering homemade brandy drink, traditionally prepared by the family. Jovanka made our stay so warm and unforgettable ...she both with her sister-in-law’s were always there, asking for anything you might need. We also met the grandson of the family, Jovan, that is a very young sympathetic guide and excellent interpreter, perfectly explaining to us the organization...all the activities around the Ostrovo Restaurant and Sveti Naum. The beach and the monastery of Sveti Naum is just a 5 min car drive away. There you'll find the Ostrovo Restaurant, where the included traditional and delicious breakfast will be served. The restaurant is located near the springs and the tables are literally on floating docks. You can also enjoy lunch and dinner there, with a 20% discount for guests of the villa. There are boats departing inside the restaurant that bring you to a tour of the crystal clear springs and since this is a UNESCO heritage site, boats must row to get there which is a unique experience. The beach comes fully equipped with sunbeds (free of charge) and also a beach bar with a renting station, where you can rent canoes and surfboards do visit the scenery nearby. To take a break from the beach, you can visit the renowned monastery of Sveti Stefan and its many artistic attractions. So, we are so grateful to all the Staff of Risteski Family (thanks Marika for your dedication and all the information about the property). Overall a very beautiful and unique experience worth visiting. We enjoyed so much our first time and we would be very happy to book again.
