lighting very poor in all rooms .no outlets next to beds in two rooms .handles falling off of front door and shower handle. no bedside lamps in two bedrooms. poor communication about how to check in and leave

The apartment was not as close to the centre of Taormina as we expected and was at the top of a very steep and winding road. some issues in the apartment - cooker not working, no tv reception, no sun loungers as shown in picture, broken toilet door, no toaster, broken safe deposit box…….and so on!

The view from the terrace. Very accommodating host who allowed us to check out late and provided a kettle and new glasses on arrival. You need a car, preferably a small one to negotiate the hill, but the view is worth it when you get there.

The property is run down, and needs work. The loungers(as shown on website) are missing, apparently broken by previous guests Plugs are few, and the system is easily overloaded and cut out a few times. The air con in bed rooms is good but absent in sitting area, and not able to shade foodstuff as no curtains/blinds Beds not very comfortable, and bed linen very tired.

Unique view, large terrace, spacious and beautiful apartment, comfortable mattress, air conditioning works, wonderful and helpful communication of the host, parking space right outside the door, lovely, cozy, authentic entrance to the apartment. Fridge full of goods left for us, including wine, juice, fruits. We would like to come back every year, and we would recommend to everyone if the technical problems were solved - then there would definitely be 10 in the circle!

Ants everywhere in the house, especialy bathroom and kitchen, the hood is not connected to the mains, doesn't work, there is a great lack of light for cooking in the kitchen, the outdoor table is dangerouslg not stable (has glass top), the water flow is very weak, the handles are broken, doors of the rooms not closing, the toilet buttons are broken, the oven or some more connected appliances cannot be used - fuse springs off, there are no sockets in one of the bedrooms (there is no place to charge the phone).

The terrace had an incredible view of the ocean and Taormina. Very close by car to Taormina too if you don't mind driving on narrow, windy roads! Free parking at the house too was great.

There was a bit of a sewage smell coming from the bathroom - it was fine if we closed the bathroom door though.

Firstly this was advertised being 300 meters from the beach ,and fully equipped with kettle toaster microwave . This is a 25 minute walk up a very steep hill . No kettle toaster or microwave which was in the description …the bedding was of poor quality and kitchen cups were cracked,and filthy kitchen cloths as pictures show. Bookings .com need to remove this for rental until it’s put right. whe said he would bring round a kettle , this never turned up ! The Bedding was poor quality. Worst still the kitchen cloths were filthy as pictures will show . The owner refunded us a small token for our inconvenience . All the descriptions of this apartment is below anyone’s expectations . I have no problem with health, NO heart problems as indicated by the owner it’s just a mountain to climb to reach the apartment, the accommodation needs to be properly advertised with its facilities and contents.

The property is beautiful and very well equipped. The view is breathtaking. Diego is a very kind host.

To get to the property there is a bit of a climb by foot but no problem if you come by car. Walking made it a good exercise

Diego was very helpful and always contacted me right on time when ever I needed help and also was very generous to offer a few extra hours so we stay at the apartment since our flight was late at night! The view was amazing and a very clean apartment over all its worth the money :)

There is a long walk to get to the apartment as there is no access for buses or mini vans cause the road.

Nice view of the sea from the terrace. Good space inside.

Floor was dirty, very old sheets and pillow covers. No iron for clothes, no water as part of food pack, no towel hangers in ensuite, no aircondition in living/kitchen area making the apartment really hot. Low maintenance visible throughout.
