The shower was great and the room was clean.

Towels were thread bare, with threads hanging from them. The freezer was so iced up that the ice cube tray was covered with ice and unusable The bed had only one option of a continental quilt which was too hot for summer. There was no option for a bed sheet or blanket as a substitute. The pillows were too thin and offered no head support.

This room was small but had everything you could possibly need.

Informed of 1.5% card surcharge day after booking. No receipt issued for paying cash. No top sheet on bed. No face washer. Threads hanging from bath mat. Fan sounded like a freight train, and that was on the lowest speed.

Great welcome on arrival, quick and efficient. The facility is older but has been updated with some thought. The bathroom has been renovated with new tiles and whiteware, but it's not a professional job if you care about that. For a single traveller it offered all that was needed; a comfy bed with an electric blanket, a wall heater, fridge and a microwave. The bed was good and a choice of plump or flat pillows. The wifi was a bit slow to stream youtube but fine for other sites. The location is quiet - once the locals go to bed there's no noise about to disturb you.

International Roast coffee sachets No top sheet, just a doona. The bathroom is very small and wider folk may struggle. Lack of air conditioning in my basic room may be an issue on hot days and nights; a box fan was the only cooling option.

Bathroom was almost new but shower head a bit irritating as it kept moving pillows were terrible - very clean but very very thin no spare blanket - do not like to sleep with the heater on but Lithgow is cold and there was no spare blanket overall room was clean, location was quiet and value was good

In the single room the electric blanket didn’t work

Quiet. Clean. Shower was wonderful, it took a little bit for the hot water to come through on a cold morning. Heating worked well. Beds were comfortable.

Decor a little dated - painting and curtains would change the look considerably. Inability to lock the door from the inside other than by a chain. Need door seals on the bottom of the door to stop the draught, I used a couple of spare pillows.
