We stayed five nights at B&B Shining and were sad when we left this place. Corrado & his family were a lovely host! B&B Shining is located in a small side street close to the sea. Parking spaces are available at the accommodation. Larger cars can easily be parked on the main road. If you have problems with the parking, there will be help from Corrado & his family ;-) The rooms are modernly furnished, and very clean (cleaned every day). Our room also had a terrace where we could have breakfast. The breakfast was very good. There were rolls, pastries (e.g. filled croissants and homemade cake), fruit and more. What made the stay exceptional, however, was the hospitality. Questions before arrival? No problem! Questions during the stay? No problem! Need help or tips for your day trip? No problem. And you feel home when you are offered a coffee or given the best arancini in town as a surprise when you return to your room after a long day trip. Rules for COVID-19 were implemented and followed flawlessly. If we are in the area again, we know where we will stay :-)

Best breakfast ever in Italy. The host Corrado is very friendly and always helpful. Nice an stylish rooms located very close to the beach. It's the perfect stay if you want to spend a few days in Avaola.

Amazing host, great breakfast, beautiful beach with clear water few steps away

We found a very rare combination of the exceptional hospitality that you would get from a family-run place and the standards of a flawlessly run hotel in this modest B&B. We spent only one night here (unfortunately), which was one of the most comfortable stays we had during our trip. The B&B is a small family business, run by the lovely son Corrado, while the tasty breakfasts (they were more than happy to offer savoury options) were prepared by the mother, who preferred to stay behind the scenes but was always present through her baking. The wifi, the water pressure, the mattress, beddings, towels, cleanliness everything was excellent. The room was newly renovated and was very well thought out in general, with great attention to detail such as extra plug converters, wifi extender in the room, water in the fridge, somewhere to put your suitcase, somewhere to dry your beach gear, etc. The Covid 19 precautions were also taken seriously. The generosity and care of the lovely family behind this place is reflected throughout your stay here. I would wholeheartedly recommend the place.

Corrado is a great host, friendly and takes great care of his guests. 👸👸feeling! 'Petit déjeuner' is made with ❤ Mama's homemade apple pie is delicious! Such a nice family😍 Great location @ the beach, quiet & very clean! We would give 11/10 if we could. Grazie mille!! See you soon.

Nothing, it was perfect!

The hosts were very welcoming and made you feel more like family and friends than just guests. They dropped us off at the rail station, lent us beach towels, umbrellas and beach chairs. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, mum’s homemade cakes in the morning were superb. We went off to the beach on more than one occasion with rolls and cakes they wrapped up for us without us asking.
