QUIET location - bakery located a short walk away that is open early with delicious baked goods, coffee, tea, sandwiches, etc. Also a BONUS grocery store right beside the bakery so very convenient. Hosts were lovely, lovely people. We stayed 2 nights in a row and then 1 night at the end of our trip - referred to the Hotel as "home".

The room was warm and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortables. There is free parking available in front and the check in process (very late checkin) was very easy.

The restaurant near to the hotel was good.

The staff: The hotel is a good 17 minutes drive away from the places you want to be. For that compromise you would expect a clean room, you would be disappointed. The shower curtains are from the 1960's, and they have a mop suggesting you clean after you shower. The most unbelievable thing of all is not the location or the rooms, it is the two ( assume husband and wife > owners ) team at the front. I decided to call them the crooks ! I wanted to see a friend. I assumed they are just like the other 5 hotels I stayed at in Iceland, professions. I asked for a place where I can get wine to take with me. The lady jumped at the opportunity to tell me she can sell me one. Nice ! I said at the time. The price 7000. I said that seems excessive for a bottle of wine. O no. That is the price it is sold. So believing the old man would not lie, i paid in cash. Bothered by the price, I asked a friend to go to a liquor store with me. Yes, the same wine was 2499 What a crook these two are. Don't believe anything they tell you, especially if you happen to be black or brown. Yes, that too. I confronted them in the morning, I got the deer in the headlight. So i left Iceland with so many beautiful memories and these two crooks in my mind.

Clean and good location. Friendly staff. Easy chech in.

Very small room with nothing except Bed. No desk, the outlet in the mild of room nowhere and very difficult to charge the phone. No any neccassy suppliers like hot water/coffee maker, the sink in the bathroom smaller like the toy. There is no place.

Nice spot on the outskirts of Reykjavik, good base for trips. Clean comfortable rooms, kind owners. Shop and bakery nearby. We stayed twice - 3 nights then took a roadtrip south and came back for another 2 nights.

Rooms and property were clean; staff was friendly and hotel is just on the east side of Reykavik so there was easy access to the city. Beds were comfortable, water pressure was good.

We had to drag our stuff through a small aisle in what looked like a breakfast room (loaded with tables and chairs) to get to our rooms. people were walking through and it was hard to travel through. There is no breakfast even though there tables and chairs set-up: not sure why. Rooms were small. It was tricky to be able to open both of our suitcases at the same time.

The hotel let us check in a couple of hours early. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were small but clean.

The location is a bit out of the way, but there were bus links close by.

strange position, in the middle of the highway. Rooms on the ground floor, with car parked right in front of the windows. Cheap furniture, damaged in some cases. Very basic and cheap beds and interiors.
