Mary was a fantastic host who gave us a kind welcome and lots of suggestions for local activities as well as cooking us a delicious breakfast. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again when we return to Deal.

Location was actually 1 mile from town centre not 1/2 mile. It was in a residential area some way from the tourist area. No restaurants or pubs offering food nearby. Very dated and quaint guest house.

The shower wasn’t very powerful or very hot.

The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were very clean. The room had all the facilities for a carefree stay. The breakfast was tasty and very extensive for the cheap price. This hotel is definitely a recommendation for a quiet stay close to the English coast.

Reception and greeting were friendly and informative. The room was comfortable, warm and well-equipped. We particularly liked the provision of a sitting room and the ability to return late at night with the key provided.
