Great location. Fabulous restaurant, amazing food Staff lovely and obliging. Bed was comfortable and clean .
Not overly clean. Cup was dirty, toilet was not clean, shower was covered in mould. Room was cold but asked staff for a radiator as they needed bled. Once that was done the radiator was piping hot.

The breakfast was very good, very good value , cooked just how we requested, nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly recommend
The only thing I can would address would be, explain that the pub/restaurant does get busy at times, so it’s best to book a table even if you just want a drink, there was a private party the night we stayed and at first we were told we couldn’t stay for a drink but then said if we came back half an hour later a table would be available, so we were lucky otherwise it would have been an early night for us.

We agreed with the hotel that breakfast for my wife and I would be 8am. At 8am everywhere was locked up. A staff member eventually turned up in a rush at 8:15 and said breakfast would be "about 20 minutes" - probably an impossibility given that everything had to be set up and cooked. As we had to leave by 8:30, this was not going to happen anyway. In fact though, we feel we dodged a bullet as the staff member's apparent cleanliness was questionable to say the least and the fact that the person had a 'hacking cough' was the final nail in the coffin. We complained to the hotel and didn't even get an acknowledgment. We then complained directly through Booking.com and eventually received the grand sum of £16.02 refund. Wow.

The food from the pub and the pub itself was exceptionally good, as was the beer.
The room wasn't quite up to scratch, with the Yale lock held in place with a rock (which didn't feel very secure) and the shower was pretty mouldy, with the shower drain fairly blocked. Additionally, when I came to check out just after breakfast (around 08:45), the staff had locked up and left. Luckily, I found the chef around back after a while and handed him the key but this made me late for work. The room could also benefit from wifi being added - though this is free in the pub, it just doesn't reach the rooms.

lovely spacious room moder and clean
the mattress on the bed was absolutely terrible I tried to speak to someone in the morning as it actually bruised my body with the springs !! my Partener and I didn’t sleep all night due to the discomfort . it’s actually a H& S problem that I would like looking into

the staff were friendly and accommodating, the pub/restaurant itself decent with good food and quick friendly service even on a busy Saturday. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. I liked the privacy of having its own main door.
The mattress was pretty uncomfortable.

Great location, friendly staff. Breakfast was cooked to order. Rooms away from pub, good choice of coffee, tea,, hot chocolate and biscuits. Nice touch with little fridge in room.

The room was not really welcoming the bed was very soft, there wasn't a fire meeting point incase of fire and the the was very small and dirty.

Fantastic surroundings, very impressed when I walked into the pub, it looked very clean and inviting, staff were smartly dressed & acted professionally.
The only thing I would mention was that I could feel the springs from mattress on my back, however a mattress topper would easily deal with that. Otherwise the accommodation was excellent & super warm!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was lovely, the room was spacious and clean and there was plenty of parking available. There is also a shop accross the road if you have forgotten any essentials.
The bed was terribly uncofortable, you could feel every spring in the mattress and there were big dips in the divan base. No lighting near the mirror in the main room made getting ready (hair and makeup) more difficult.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The English breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Couldn't fault the evening meal for quality and price. Room was comfy and clean.
