Great location. Fabulous restaurant, amazing food Staff lovely and obliging. Bed was comfortable and clean .

Not overly clean. Cup was dirty, toilet was not clean, shower was covered in mould. Room was cold but asked staff for a radiator as they needed bled. Once that was done the radiator was piping hot.

The only thing I can would address would be, explain that the pub/restaurant does get busy at times, so it’s best to book a table even if you just want a drink, there was a private party the night we stayed and at first we were told we couldn’t stay for a drink but then said if we came back half an hour later a table would be available, so we were lucky otherwise it would have been an early night for us.

We agreed with the hotel that breakfast for my wife and I would be 8am. At 8am everywhere was locked up. A staff member eventually turned up in a rush at 8:15 and said breakfast would be "about 20 minutes" - probably an impossibility given that everything had to be set up and cooked. As we had to leave by 8:30, this was not going to happen anyway. In fact though, we feel we dodged a bullet as the staff member's apparent cleanliness was questionable to say the least and the fact that the person had a 'hacking cough' was the final nail in the coffin. We complained to the hotel and didn't even get an acknowledgment. We then complained directly through Booking.com and eventually received the grand sum of £16.02 refund. Wow.

Rooms were nice and the beds were comfy.

Fabulous accommodation. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend.
