Highly recommended apartment in the historic center of Bologna. The space is very comfortable, clean and they have everything you need to make your stay very comfortable. The people who give you support are always willing and are very quick problem solvers. We will definitely be back on our next trips!

Our welcoming host and excellent location

The towels need to be renewed as they were too worn out. A mattress protector is needed to make the bed more comfortable.

Perfect location in the centre of the city. Clean, great bathroom / shower, kind stuff.

Apartment location

Very difficult check in process, very agressive and unfriendly behaviour of the guy handing the apartment keys. Lots of hidden costs. Upon arrival we needed to pay an extra 12 euro City tax and another 40 euro pennalty for checking in after 19:00, for which we didn't receive any receipt. Moreover we arrived at 21:56 but the host didn't answer our call until 22:05 and asked us for extra 20 euro penalty for checking in after 22:00.

Location is very central, close to supermarket, restaurants and food markets. Lovely building Agents were amenable to us storing our bags until check in and allowed a later check out as no one else was checking in on the day of our departure.

Had to call Agents several times prior to our visit which became quite stressful, as first they debited 20% of cost even though there was nothing on the booking website to state this. I had agreement from them to pay the security deposit in cash on arrival to avoid delays in it being returned to us, but they still took the deposit from my bank card together with the full cost of the stay irrespective of the 20% deposit they had already taken. Skylight to shower room wouldn’t open during our stay so we were unable to air it. We brought it to the attention of the Agents but no one attended to it. In check out the Agent realised the remote control for the skylight wasn’t working, but this could have been ascertained much sooner with more care shown. Wasn’t keen on the fact that the upper floor bedroom is accessed from a door at the rooftop. I didn’t feel comfortable locking my children in 1 area and then me sleeping in a separate one. I do think this should’ve been clearly stated on the booking information as it’s not clear from the images. Really wanted to make a fresh coffee in the mornings but the coffee pot they provided wasn’t suitable for the induction hob. Toaster was super small and toylike with a non specific timer requiring guesswork so as to not burn the toast, which I found strange given that the apartment can take 6 people. Consequently Breakfast time took longer. Insufficient seating for meals for our family of 5. On check out the Agent kept asking us about scratches to the wooden floor, which we knew nothing about. We never wear shoes indoors, and our small cases had wheels. It felt very accusatory and he clearly had not paid sufficient attention to other check outs prior to our arrival, because we knew we hadn’t caused them and he should have noticed them sooner. We were told to take our rubbish to the bins at the front pavement, but no details as to when we must do this by.
