Katia made our experience amazing, she was communicating with us before we arrived to guide us in town as Ragusa is not the easiest place to drive, she also offered us her park is spot close to the entrance and had a map ready with restaurants recommendations… we were coming from Capo Taormina Una hotel a luxury place and Katia was was superior with here services. The room was small but spotless and beautifully decorated with stunning wallpaper and cotton embroidered window covers with the duomo on 😍we stayed in Aura room that has a lovely view of the duomo. Very romantic for couples!

The view is simply the best in town. The bed is very comfortable, the breakfast had a lot of options and was very good. The room was very clean. The location is in center of everything on the Ibla. Bathroom is very well organized.

A/C could be a problem in hot weather, it's very weak and we had to sleep with open window (and when you open the window A/C turns off). Luckily we visited in May which was unusually chilly. Room is very small (but well organized) and has a very steep stairs leading to it. Pack light.

The host Katia was wonderful.She picked me up at the train station, explained everything, and also suggested many restaurants to eat and places to see. Of cause the view from the balcony was very nice also.

We loved this small, charming hotel in the heart of Ragusa Ibla. Katrina was so friendly and helpful. We also liked that parking was available and there were great places for food and drink close by.

We liked everything. If you have trouble with stairs, there is no elevator, though not a problem for us. Also, if you are driving, there are small streets to navigate.

Hosts were fabulous, and location was the best with great view of the Duomo. Unbelievable breakfast prepared and served by the host.

The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated in traditional Sicilian style. You have an amazing view of the duomo cupola, much closer than it seems on the main photo. Katia and Roberta are friendly, helpful and give a very useful and informative check-in. Location is just 2 mins walk from the main piazza. Breakfast is plentiful and varied. 100% recommendable!

Everything exceeded my expectations

What you will notice first is the beauty of the view. You are at the top of Ragusa Ibla, with the dome of the Duomo more or less at eye level. Beyond is a beautiful, spare, almost stylized-seeming landscape. Then you will notice how kind and helpful Katia, the hostess, is. Then you will thrill at the beauty and serenity of your room. Ours was the ground floor room, with a beautiful arched ceiling. I thought it might be noisy to be on the ground floor, but I never heard a car pass or a person make a peep (you are almost as high in the town as you can go, so there is nobody just passing by for no reason. By the way, that position makes it relatively easy to find a parking place on the street. Breakfast is delicious and generous, with lots of local specialties. We particularly loved the little individual basket of fresh ricotta with the sun-dried tomatoes in oil, but there is everything you can think of to choose from. Katia gave us exceptionally good advice about how to organize our day, and we followed it to the letter, and came home very satisfied with everything we had seen and done. Ragusa itself is absolutely lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We couldn't recommend Duomo Relais more warmly.

Hmm it's hard to come up with a suggestion. Here's one that will give an idea of how pleasant it all is: the water for making tea could have been warmer on the second day.

Excellent host, Katia, and excellent location with view in all directions. Katia even offered to pick me up from Ragusa Superior when I arrived. Above and beyond. Helped to organize activities and offered great advice on what to do around town and beyond. Customized breakfast that include locally produced specialities. Very thoughtfully remodel of an old building -- feels modern but keeps the sense of the old as well. Highly recommend Ragusa as a home base for exploring the other towns around.

Cannot ask for a better location in Ragusa Ibla. Great host and lovely breakfast.

We managed to park on the street next to the place. However I would imagine that parking may be an issue during busier times.

The location was great with a view of the Duomo right outside the relais. Katia met us and gave us a map to orient ourselves with the town. She gave us recommendtions for things to see and restaurants recommendations. Breakfast was ample and good. You choose your items the day before and the time you want to have breakfast. Katia is there in the morning to give you breakfast and answer any questions.

if you have a car, driving to the hotel and parking can be a challenge and not for folks who are not familiar with driving in small narrow streets. Water temp fluctuated in the shower and sink. Full on to full off. If you waited a half minute or so the water would flow again.
