The host left us some eggs which was so fresh . She also placed oils and spices for us. I liked the small thoughts she had about the stay. She put a lot of thought while she prepared the rooms and tge whole house. The house was so comfortable and we felt just at home
There was not anything that i didnt like. My family loved the place, games. The pictures of the house on site were not great but as i entered the house i was just awed.

Everything. It was clean, had everything we needed and garden was fully enclosed for our 2 elderly dogs.

Everything was okay. The hostess, clean house, very good towels and beds ... The game room, the wifi, kitchen, big livingroom. Also two bathrooms ...

Large open space downstairs, somewhere safe to let the dog out, large kitchen which was well equipped and good size bathrooms.
1.Poor lighting all over the property, day light or cool light bulbs needed due to the style of the building, only has a few windows.
2. The oven needs a deep clean it smells of old cooking, the lights downstairs are full of dead flies and the large pan needs replacing due to all the non-stick flaking off.
3. We all struggled with the TV, it’s far to small for the size of room.
4. The main bedroom door needs all your weight to close it and the bunk room bedroom needs opening into the large landing, as it smashes onto the bunk beds.
5. Lovely wood stairs but unfortunately we found them very slippery wearing socks, it should be carpeted.
6. There is no hangers in the downstairs bathroom.
7. Fridge/freezer understairs the doors need to open the opposite side due to fighting with the coats that are hanging up.

Lovely and clean
Everything was provided.
Great for the dog as had own secluded garden, plus a large field to take her for a walk.
Lots of space
Right next to main road. Wasn’t a problem during the night but can be noisy if sitting out in the garden. Won’t stop us returning though.

Plenty of parking - towels were provided free of charge and there was a washing machine in our kitchen and a shared tumble dryer for which there was no charge. Kitchen was well equipped and we even received a doggy welcome pack! The hosts had thought of everything we could possibly need.
This is no reflection on the host but the property was on the outer edge of town and there was no pavement; it meant that we had to use the car to go anywhere. The road was adjacent to the property and it was very busy most of the time. We also had to use the car to find somewhere to give the dog a decent walk.

Loved the hosts, they were friendly and have lots of ideas of places to visit. There was a loan shed for buckets/spades/ bodyboards which was excellent. We also liked the friendliness to dogs!

Perfect location for touring Devon & Cornwall

The cleanliness of the place especially in this time of Covid. The bed was extremly comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. Although we didn't have childen with us there are a lot of provisions for children - very large grass area to run around, football goal, wooden climbing frame with slide and a games room.
Close to Bude and the beautiful N. Cornwall coast.
Very restricted headroom in bedroom on one side of the bed. Also in the bedroom early morning traffic noise

We had a truly wonderful stay in this house - it was cosy, light and beautiful. We were able to fully relax in the quiet peace of the countryside, and in the outdoor grilling area and the game room with a range of activities. The hosts were welcoming and made us feel like we were home. The house had amazing recycling, which was great to see too! Thank you :)
