Dog friendly pub, close to all amenities of bakewell. Park up and explore.

Libby really welcoming at check in with a great " can do attitude". sat night / sun a.m staff member was far from helpful,and a bit rude to be honest . Room wise must say really Comfy bed . Good tea coffee selection, but....Deco tired, carpets old. Stacked boxes with old ornaments and bric a brac on the landing , and an old door leant up against the wall ? 5/10 for cleanliness. Woke up by extractor fan going off early hours. View of garden was the carpark and smoking tent roof. I'd of been happy at 75-80 but no way worth £100 a night. Dead basic.

With the little touches, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the breakfast is ideal. The location is perfect, there is a park within yards to exercise the dog. My wife loved the bed comfort.

The pub needs a refurbishment, and the decor is looking dated and tired.

The memory foam bed was terrible. very uncomfortable, felt like you were sleeping on a hill! Hardly slept. Grout in bathroom needs doing, mouldy. Didn’t have time to fill in the breakfast form but waited downstairs in the morning and no staff available to have breakfast or give feedback so we just left.

location and atmosphere were fine but for the price paid it was a let down in terms of value for money clearly they have limited meal availability and we noticed everyone without a booking was turned away / this is not a staff fault but a management fault breakfast was good although service was limited to handing out our meal which was tasty and nice my evening meal - a steak pie which was nice plus broccoli which was old stale and yellow - if they didn’t have fresh food just say sorry we have run out very disappointed in this accomodation and find it hard to recommend- which is rare for me

Bath was too small but still adequate for short people!

There was no breakfast, but able to get something in a nearby cafe. Evening meal in the pub was excellent value for money.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were greeted by a friendly woman who showed us to our room.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. I could not fault them in any way. The property is in the centre of Bakewell and in a very good location. We found the whole of Bakewell very dog friendly and the Manners was no exception.

The room was very dark and very dated. The bathroom definitely needed some updating, although the shower gave a decent amount of spray the head would not fix where you wanted it and most of the water went up the wall or all over the floor. The bath is extremely small and not worth the effort and just a bit grubby. The whole room was a bit grubby and I understand that when you travel with dogs, you are never given the better rooms but this still could be much better. The food was not very good. We had full English breakfast which although tasted good, rather a lot of fat came with it! The first evening we ate in the pub and our meals were awful. I would not recommend at all.

Ideal location for the purpose of my visit. The bed was so comfortable and it was nice to have a bath and a shower. The owners were very welcoming and friendly.

The listing did state that there was a refrigerator in the room but there wasn’t one.

very warm welcome from the lady we met inside. nice quiet room, no noise at night.

the rear entrance was a little untidy and off putting when we arrived at car park.

Good location for the town, good pub food.

The kitchen extractor fan stays on right below the rooms until 10pm at night and comes back on at 5.30am in the morning. So loud and definitely not what you want if you're trying to sleep also rudely told it's a working pub when asked what the noise was. It vibrates through the room.

The staff were lovely and everyone was really dog friendly which was great. The rooms were decorated beautifully with everything u needed.

The mattress was no good, sleeping on a slope and the portion size of the evening meal was very small for the pasta bake, more like a starter dish.

Easy parking and good location

Room would benefit from the addition of a chair. No-one available for checkout.
