Beautiful Villa with fantastic views of Deshaies and the bay. If you are a ‘Death in Paradise’ fan you will have an uninterrupted view of both Katherine’s Bar and Honore Police Station, though you will need binoculars or a telephoto lens for detail. We had a great week.

Although there is one restaurant within walking distance, (down a steep hill), the Villa is a little too far away from Deshaies to walk into the town. But it’s only a 5 minute drive and there is a big free car park in Deshaies with many restaurants close by. (Or park outside Honore Police Station. That’s a car park too).

Good views and location

The location of Palm Bay Villa is idyllic, the views amazing, with only a short distance into town. The villa is on a hill overlooking Deshaies and is in a quiet, private location, surrounded by lush vegetation. Just perfect.

Nothing at all could be done any better. The Villa and location exceeded all of our expectations.

If this isn't the top property on the West side of Basse Terre, I will eat my hat. It is wonderful in all respects.

There is not one negative thing anyone could bring up.

It really is as lovely as it looks in the photos. We really loved the luxury, location, space and privacy. The views from everywhere! The comfortable beds. The pleasant garden and easy parking. The great veranda which included several seating areas and a pool shower and nice pool lighting.The lovely lady who showed us around.. It is only a ten minute walk down to the heart of the village. We all agreed that this great villa played a key part in our enjoyment of a great holiday with a mixture of relaxing and exploring.

We were suprised that only one bedroom had a hook for a mosquito net and hope that the owners will install one for the safety and comfort of other visitors.
