The authentic homestay vibe, the garden and the tranquility. The pool was also lovely and the bed was comfortable. They had limited parking which helped me also. It was very close to my job so this was convenient for me.
The room had thin white curtains, so the morning sunlight was intense, not good if you want to sleep late. The doors also had a screen on them, so the air could always enter. This is ok in Ubud as it's not so hot but it doesn't help with noise or keeping the room more cool with the AC.

One bedroom villa, lots of plants, nice cats that are well taken care of… it was really nice to see that. And they gave us some incense sticks for the room.
The breakfast was really disappointing compared to other much cheaper accommodation in the centre of ubud… one coffee, one pancake or cold omlette, a couple of pieces of fruit and that’s it… the road to get there was stressful even for grab drivers, the bathroom was full of hair, the shower head didn’t function properly, lots of noise from the roosters in the morning, the pool was dirty, the massage overpriced although good.

The location of the villa was good. And the villa itself looked nice and quiet from the outside. The surrounding was clean and welcoming. Host was very friendly and helpful.
Upon entering our villa , we found it rather dusty, especially the sofa and curtains. When we informed the staff, they gladly cleaned and changed the curtains. But then all this could have been done before the arrival of guests. After the place was cleaned, we felt the difference as the air feels more cleaner. The place need some updating too, especially the toilets and sinks. Taps were found loose and stained, water from the shower doesn't flow regularly and tends to drizzle in the mid of showering. So its rather inconvenient. The television was also not working and they got it working on the second day. However, there was no color and the screen was totally in black and white. No cable, no movies, only Indonesian channels to watch.

(Written by an 8 year old) Villa Bakti was amazing it was really clean, and I love the kitchen. The people who work there are so lovely anr helped us alot. The sofa was really comfortable and the pillows were very beautiful. The swimming pool was a really nice temperature. And there were some really cute cats that came into our room once or twice.
Internet unreliable (though we didnt use much so to be fair, i didnt mention to staff.. Kitchen could be better equipped.

It would have been nice if the hottub was heated.

We liked the pool and the view. The villa is big and confortable. Is quiet and private. Also Iki, the girl who works there, was verry nice and she help us with everithing we asked.
Not verry clean. The water from toilet in master bedroom work from time to time.
The house is located far from the city and the street there is verry bad.

Made is a wonderful host. It's a perfect location just outside of the craziness of Ubud in a quiet village. Room was clean and staff were great.

We bookended our trip up to the North of Bali with a one night stay at Villa Rumah Bakti at each end, but we wish we'd had more time there. We had a group of 6 adults and 3 children, and booked into the 3 bedroom villa with pool which was on street level, and a 2 bedroom villa which was on a lower level accessed by steep stairs through the garden.
There were pools on both levels which were clean and beautiful and even though we were only there for a short while, both pools got a good workout.
The 3 bedroom villa was large and spacious with a good sized open living area and would be perfect for a family stay. The pool had beautiful views across the valley and two of the bedrooms opened up near the pool area.
The 2 bedroom villa was actually two smaller buildings further down in the garden - one had a bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette, and the other had a bedroom and bathroom. This worked well for our family as we had a kid and an adult in each room, but could have been tricky for a family with younger kids who wanted parents in one room and kids in the other. I preferred this lower level as the buildings were set among lovely gardens and there was plenty of shade during the morning. There was also a sheltered outdoor table in the garden that was the perfect spot for breakfast.
Breakfast was pretty basic - eggs cooked multiple ways, and pancakes were the only options - but couldn't really complain.
We weren't at the Villa long enough to comment on location, as we didn't really do anything in the local area and were just passing through. Some in our group took a morning outing to the Elephant Cave Temple which I think is the closest sight to the Villa.
The staff were really lovely and great with the kids.
The stairs down to the 2 bedroom villa were quite steep and a little slippery and the breakfast could maybe have done with a fruit option, but those are both very minor issues and overall we loved our stay at the Villa.
