I had the most amazing stay at Hansi’s and Uditha’s beautiful guesthouse. The location is perfect, a short five minute walk from the area’s best surf points, and yet tucked away in a quiet street full of trees, away from the noise of the main road. The garden is a great place to enjoy the birdsongs on a hammock(: The rooms here are several levels above other guesthouses in the area, incredible value, extremely comfortable, homey and so clean. Hansi makes the best food, and just did everything she can to make my stay perfect. I can’t wait to be back, it’s a home away from home!

This place is perfect. The communication from the point of booking was excellent and my airport taxi was easily arranged. My room was so comfortable and spotlessly clean. The open areas very relaxing and the hosts could not have been more welcoming, helpful and on hand with breakfasts and laundry. The location is just a few minutes walk to the beach and ideally situated away from the busy areas so you can relax in peace and quiet.

We loved the place! A very friendly Lady is running it, she helped us with everything. The room was very nice, calm, clean and tastefully furnished. The breakfast was delicious and generally everything looks very nice. Definitely would recommend this awesome place!

Midigama Holiday Inn is a wonderful place, so calm and relaxing in the nature, and at the same time just a few minutes walking to the beach, and one of the best surf spots in the southwest. The staff is so lovely and always there for help. Great breakfast. Midigama Holiday Inn is the perfect place if you are looking for accomodation in Midigama. We would definitely come back!

Everything about our stay here was divine. The hosts Hansi and Udi were incredibly kind and helpful, always smiling. The hotel itself was spotless and like a Zen retreat. The rooms were so beautifully decorated, cold ac, delicious “royal treatment” breakfast, and very quiet. Perfect location a 4 minute walk away from the beach…and blissfully away from the tourist bustle and noise of the road. We stayed with our 6 year old, and this was a very safe lovely place to stay with a kid. At first we thought we would want to be closer to the beach, but we are so happy we stayed here as it was a wonderful rest for our souls, and would much rather awaken to birdsong than traffic. This was our first stay in Sri Lanka, and what a perfect welcome.

Modern, new, clean and spacious rooms in a calm sidestreet, though just a 3min walking to the surf-beach. Some good restaurants around. The lovely family supports you in every aspect and made our stay very pleasant here :)

Nothing to complain, Hansi gets everything fixed and even let us hang around an extra day on her property, as we had a late-night flight back home. Thanks for everything

This place is truly amazing. The room we had upstairs was beautiful and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. Short walk to the beach. Midigama is such a calm and friendly area. The host Hansi and her family are incredible. So kind and warm and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here if you are lucky to get a room!

We had a fantastic stay here and can highly recommend it :) we come back to Sri Lanka every other year and holiday Inn was by far the best guesthouse we ever stayed in! The Rooms are really modern and comfortable, theres a lovely vibe all around and Our hosts Hansi and her Husband did a great Job looking after us and keeping the house and garden sparkling clean, the location is perfect- 5min walk to Lazy left and right and set in a quiet sideroad. We will definetly be back on Our next trip

Midigama Holiday Inn is amazing! The owners are lovely, friendly and so helpful. The rooms are super super nice, comfortable, the AC works well, it's clean. It's only 5 minutes walking to the beach, where you can surf and watch the sunset. You have some restaurants in walking distance or a short tuktuk ride to Weligama or Ahangama (10 min) away. Everything is perfect!

The location is excellent, in the nature but close to the beach. Hansi and Uditha are lovely hosts and very helpful and kind. The rooms are clean and comfortable and good style.

Almost everything. At first and most the hosts, so friendly, kind and welcoming. Helpful all in all, they made it feel a little bit like home. The facilities and rooms in best condition, really hot water if wanted, clean and i liked the concrete style a lot. Location is really quiet, although the train is right around the corner, some local Restaurants and coffees are closed, so you need to walk a bit along the beach, but guess the reason was my stay in off e.g. Beginning of the season. I will definately come back and can recommend the stay here 100%, also with families.

Clean n comfortable room

It was spotlessly clean on arrival, even let us in our room early! Our host was extremely helpful and friendly. The shared outdoors spaces were beautiful, with hammocks that were amazing! The outdoor showers were also great after arriving back from the beach. The wifi was extremely good. The location is ideal, close to the beach, bus and train, making it an ideal place to stay.

The location of the hotel was ideal, near to the restaurants and beach but far enough away to keep the noise of the main road at bay. The room was clean and spacious and the large balcony was perfect to sit out on in the evening. The owners were so lovely and did everything they could to help with any queries. Having lived in Midigama for three months I picked this hotel out for my parents to stay in as I believe it is the best hotel.

Hansi and her family are exceptional hosts, nothing is too much and she exemplifies the Sri Lankan effortless hospitality. The rooms are large, mattress comfortable and air conditioning quiet. Hansi’s food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka and is best had after a short walk (to the sea <3mins) for a swim / surf early in the morning. Thank you Hansi for a wonderful stay

Very nice place too stay, beds are super comfy and rooms are really clean and modern with good AC, hot and powerfull shower and nice balcony. Staff very welcoming and friendly would definitely stay again and its really near to good surf spots.

That I didn't stay longer

The place is best for its value in Midigama. 1) Location - great, just 2 mins from spot and the same time not close to railway, so very quite place 2) my standard room not big but have all for living with good bathroom (really hot water, new bath equipment), new AC) 3) outdoor space (clean, with big tables, hammock) is brilliant for work, rest, yoga 3) owners are even more brilliant and super friendly, respond any your needs immediately 4) safety - owners always keep on the hotel area, have cameras and a lot light all around, special locker for surfboards, so all is made to feel safety

We were at the Midigma Holiday Inn for 11 nights. The dedicated care began even before arrival at the hotel. A shuttle service from the airport was arranged for us. The rooms match the description on the website very well and so does the courteous service and cleanliness. The courteous service provides a solution to any need that arises. The wifi in the hotel is strong in the public space and also in the rooms. The hotel offers full value for money. We personally came in favor of surfing so the location of the hotel is really excellent. 3 minutes walk from the beach and from the points of Lazy Lept and Lazy Rigt. Other attractive beaches are up to 20 minutes away by tuk-tuk. We will no doubt return to this hotel and will certainly recommend it to others.

Super nice staff. Super clean and organized facilities with a common area where you can read or chill a bit. The bedroom and bathroom were super clean.
