Very spacious very clean and comfortable

The villa was very comfortable. Great beds and lots of amenities such as washing machine, air con, pool towels, some games, smart TV etc. It's located about 2 Kms from Playa Blanca, but a 2 min walk from a small stony beach with kayaking available. There is also a couple of shops and cafe bars located within 5-10 mins walk and also a bus stop into Playa Blanca in 10 mins. Plenty of carparking available in April. Eva our host was very attentive and quick to respond.

Taxis are busy, to get home from PB you'll need to queue during peak times but it costs less then €5.

Location was excellent. Eva was wonderful, pool was maintained to the highest standards. The villa lacked nothing.

Lovely clean and comfortable villa with all mod cons and facilities. Everything you need is here. Host Eva was amazing. Helpful, charming, patient (especially when we locked ourselves out), informative, eager to help and always available. Villa within walking distance of Marina with its many bars and restaurants in a beautiful setting and a more lengthy stroll takes you along the seafront to the old town of Playa Blanca - all lovely walks and glorious scenery. We have stayed in Playa Blanca many times and would definitely return to this villa.

Pool was a little small and sun loungers could benefit from cushions to help "old bones". Also walls very thin and you could here everything from neighbours in terraced villas.

Property had air con which was great on those really hot days. The oven was virtually new. There is a washing machine and dishwasher amongst other mod cons. Property was well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The pool was great for dips and there was 6 sun loungers & towels provided. The barbeque is a portable charcoal type and was big enough to cook for 5. Walk in shower is in the main bathroom and there is good water pressure. PLenty of hot water. The TV has a hdmi port and the wi-fi was close so I was able to use a tv streaming stick that I brought with me to keep the kids out of the midday sun. Shops nearby for groceries. SuperDino is good value. Overseas/Marks & Spencer shop (I think) was pricey. Papagayo beach is a 15 minutes walk over a headland. Or you can drive around and there is an entry fee to the car park of €3. Playa Blanca strip is about a 30 minute walk. There is a market in the Marina on Wednesdays and Saturdays and about a 15 minute walk. The Marina has nice little cafés and ice cream stands. Food can be hit and miss there though. Check the reviews I guess

I'm 6'2" and have a bit of a bad back so I found the bed a little uncomfortable. The Mirador Papagayo is across the road and they seem to do the bottle bank collections quite early in the mornings. Plus the refrigerated trucks park up there for deliveries and they can be noisy too. It's only really for a few minutes on week day mornings but it was noticeable all the same #gettingold
