Sadly Steve couldn’t turn off the rain, so we had to sit, read books and relax… bummer ;-)

Amazing, peaceful location with everything we needed for our stay, Steven was an amazing host and his two very friendly puppies a delight to spend time with. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. The place exceeded our expectations. The only other luxury we would look forward to in our getaways would be a pool or a spa but there was a lovely freshwater creek flowing through the property that was beautiful.

wonderful quiet location in the bush, all you could hear were the birds, did some relaxing walks down to the creek. the studio felt like you were in a tree house. Steven was a wonderful friendly host who felt like an old friend. studio was spotless when we arrived- a great place to stay, we were very happy with the quality of the accommodation.

It rained a couple of days and the mist rolled in over the tree's, so it was truly magical.

The cottage was well equipped with everything you need for a lovely stay. The property was interesting, relaxing and peaceful and a lovely place to explore.

Kaalba is the ideal location for a real hideaway/getaway. Absolute peace and tranquility. The room is well appointed, very comfortable. Steve is a wonderful host. Recommended to anyone searching a quiet place to just relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounds. Maleny shops and cafes within a short drive.

Lovely place to stay, amazing location, quiet and peacful. The cabin has everything we needed and was exceptionally clean. Host Steven was very friendly and welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay at Kaalba, Steven was a brilliant host - friendly, exceptionally knowledgeable in the local area and very welcoming. A fabulous to place to stay for a weekend escape!
