Tranquil setting and nice pool

Our room was not as described (no pool view). The AC wasn’t working on arrival. We complained and were told it had been fixed. We came back to the room 4 hours later (at 11pm) and it was still broken. It then took 40mins for them to move us to a new room. We also had an issue with our shower. In general, staff were hard to locate and we couldn’t always get through to the manager via his mobile. The location is always a good 20min walk from the beach.

Frukosten var trevlig! Man får serverad en rätt och gratis kaffe/te finns.

Städningen var inte den bästa. Men jag tror man kan fråga om man vill ha städning oftare.

Hôtel très bien entretenu, au calme, beau jardin avec piscine et plein d’animaux sauvages : singes, écureuils, iguane, oiseaux, le tout à 10 mn à pied de la plage de Weligama. Magnifique temple à côté. Équipe sympathique et disponible. Petits déjeuners variés. Parfait!

The location was out of town and there was a garden with wildlife and a swimming pool.

The booked rooms were appalling, dirty unfurnished and smelling of urine. We were relocated to slightly better rooms. The staff were surley and unhelpful. We stayed for two weeks, but only got a room service twice in that time. During one of the room service, a bar of chocolate was stolen from our room by a member of staff. Often, there appeared to be no staff at all on the premises just a sign at reception which said manager followed by a telephone number. One evening, we witnessed a member of staff so drunk that he couldn’t walk without help. Equipment and facilities in the hotel were in a poor state of repair, and often things didn’t work. The swimming pool was occasionally cleaned, but usually had a lot of dead leaves floating on it, there were two hard sunbeds to be shared between the 12 rooms. There was no question of eating in the so-called restaurant as the staff wouldn’t serve you and conditions were very unhygienic. On the Booking.com website, the Hotel claimed to have a washing machine. a dishwasher it did not.

beautiful landscaped gardens perfectly manicured. wonderful manager and staff who were so helpful and obliging. My room was faultless.

why not get internet boosters so guests can enjoy internet in their rooms
