The host was very nice and gave use a lot of useful information about the mobility in Mantova

The bathroom was downstairs while the bedroom was upstairs, so it was a little bit uncomfortable but everything was very clean.

Lovely room in a lovely house. Easy to get into the Centre by transport. For me I was in this area for something nearby so perfect. Marco is a great guy despite my no Italian. Lovely guy and place.

Nothing

I had a very pleasant stay. Owner was very welcoming. Although communication was not very easy, a mix of Italian, French and English, we managed. Room was comfortable and calm, shared facilities in a clean state. A parking spot was provided for my car, as well as breakfast. Overall, a very good price/quality ratio with a very considerate owner. I would recommend.

House is not easy to recognize at first among other buildings, in a largely residential area. Otherwise, no other negative point.

Breakfast could be fresh and better

We ( 2 Germans) were on a bike trip across Italy and found the hotel on booking.com. Marco is a funny guy, who always looks after his guests. We had a awesome night and the breakfast was good. We had a lot of fun because of the communication with Marco in Spanish/English and Italian. All in all we recommend the Al Calypso 100%.

Marco wanted 50,- € for his Italian lesson (just kidding - it was of course a joke and all three of us laughted)

Welcomed by a cool host. The room is large and the shared bathroom too. Location is a bit far from Mantova, but you can park your car here for free.

No Wifi, as announced on the room page, but still a bit annoying.
