Room sizes were perfect and had everything that was needed. Aircon was a great bonus. Suprisngly large outdoor space. Perfect location with a short walk to the beach. Lovely bakery that is situated next door. Would stay here again without a doubt. Despina the owner was wonderful and helpful. Very welcoming and was always there if anything was needed. We didnt have beach towels with us but she was able to provide them. By far the best experince ive had when staying at a location.

Perfect location, at the same distance (1h tops) from the main points of interest in Kefalonia. Wonderful hosts: Despina and Manolis definitely make any stay so much better, with advice, recommendations and chitchatting. Bonus: Despina's delicious breakfast and Manolis' superfresh Greek Mojito - already missing both. Apartments are very clean, spacious, fitted with everything you may need. We also enjoyed the garden with the little pool and the terrace, with the cozy feeling of a home away from home.

In a relatively quiet village by the sea about 20 minutes walk from Sami. Our hosts looked after us so well, breakfast was available if needed and was very good value. A very nice bakery next door was an added bonus.

We liked everything.

Oh my gosh, we had the best holiday ever! We just loved staying here and didn't want to leave, even after 3 weeks! Karavomilos and Sami are fabulous places, but staying at the Kalypso with Despina and Manilos and family has been the best part. They made us so welcome and they are extremely skilled and friendly hosts. We also made friends with other guests. (Of course you can keep yourselves to yourselves if you prefer to) The place is kept immaculately clean, and you can relax in any area of the lovely garden. Despina and Manilos are happy to help with anything at all, we took their suggestions of where to go and where to eat and visited some excellent places that we wouldn't have otherwise known about. We are home now and missing it so much, we will definitely go back and would highly recommend a stay here.

The hospitality was great! Very good service in cleaning, guiding the way and receiving us with a drink. Very kind people.

The road next to the apartment made noise, especially at night. We didn't have a view on the sea, but at the mountains. The lights are very sharp, even the bed lights. These could be a lot less sharper.

A warm genuine welcome awaits those who holiday here. Only metres from the beach, it feels like a peaceful haven where you can relax and unwind at your own pace.

The weather in October was glorious but some of the local facilities and attractions have already shut for the season. There is plenty to do and see nonetheless.
