The balcony had a great view over the bay and out to sea. The bathroom was well fitted with a good shower. All the essentials were thought out and there were lots of hooks and cupboard space. The location was good with a short walk down the hill to the ferry, busses, city beach and shops. Overall well organised and convenient apartment that was great for sitting on the balcony in the evening. In the morning it was pleasant to sit behind the house and enjoy the view into the pine forest. Our host was friendly and efficient. We had no problems at all with the accommodation.

The location is above a small street with car parking just outside the pedestrian areas of town, so it was less romantic that staying inside the old town and a bit noisier. One feels a bit disconnected from the old charm of Vis. It is a steep walk up the hill, so not good for unfit people. The balcony is too hot to use in the morning. We needed air conditioning every night because the top floor heats up a lot and there is no shade. Smoke from the neighbors smoking on their balconies next door and below was disturbing. The kitchen equipment was adequate but not great. All the cooking knives were blunt. The beds were a bit hard and would have benefited from a top mattress. The sheets were not changed in our 6 night stay. There was no information about recycling waste and bottles. Overall it was convenient, but still a bit of a compromise compared to staying in the old town.
