This is my 3rd stay at this Hotel. It is my go to place in Costa Rica.

A few items regarding cleaning were overlooked by the housekeeping staff. #1) The clothes dryer vent had lint almost 1.5 inches thick; meaning that it had not been cleaned in a long time. #2) The top of the refrigerator has a thick layer of black dust on it.

We arrived late at night hoping to go to bed and relax. Turns out, the apartments were fully booked (which the owner of the place knew all along). Well, she had a bright idea, she told some staff to show us her apartment and to tell us we could sleep there instead. The place was FULL with her personal belongings and not at all suitable for rental. I tried to contact the owner in order to get some more information about the change. At first, she didn't want to answer the phone. After several attempts she did but all she said was: "If you want to cancel the booking, go ahead." I tried to tell her that we were not particularly happy about they way she was handling things but she just hanged the phone on me. Fortunately I come from Costa Rica and have relatives here. We ended up taken a bus later that night and went to my parent's house. All our plans were messed up because we wanted to stay in the city of Alajuela in order to visit some attractions there including the Poas National Park. At the end, we had to travel back and forth each day. Overbookings happen all the time but I would have expected a more empathetic approach giving the fact that we have been traveling the whole day and we were really tired.

Difficulty of gaining access via electronic garage door. No air conditioning and feeble fans so it was hot at night.

The property was very secure, the staff were friendly, it’s very conveniently located to the airport, city mall, and a big Walmart are close by. it is easy to get to San Jose from this area also in half an hour.

This is an amazing apartment: clean, great size, kitchen has everything to do your own cooking, the bed is sooo comfortable, etc. Both my husband and I would consider renting on a monthly basis without hesitation.

The only thing that was a bit bothersome was the noise at night (note: we were there during Christmas and New years).

I met family there for about a week. Don't let the lack of online reviews deter you. I was pleasantly surprised in general. Pictures were accurate. No big problems and no issues to speak of. If apartment life is your thing. I mean to say that you don't have the entire property to yourselves like in some short-term rentals but this was just fine for us. I look forward to staying ther again. The apartment was as described with good amenities and features. The property is secure, no security leaks, no issues. Safe.

The only two things that are notable would be, they only accept cash. And it's apartment living with dogs there. So that you know this before going may help guide your decisions.

Nice quiet flat with clean bathroom. This is good place for stay at Alajuela.

I had issues with my lock, but that did not matter as location is very secure

Great apartment with a nice view. Well equipped. Good communication and very fast help in case you have questions or need anything. Checkout is very flexible.

Very clean and comfortable. Wifi worked well. Kitchen had what we needed to cook for ourselves. Close to a fancy grocery store and a town square.

The only warning I’d give is that if you’re staying in the top floor unit with two bedrooms (a full bed and two twins), the bedroom with two twin beds is a loft up some very steep stairs — more like a tall ladder. It’s a bit tricky to go up and down. You might not feel comfortable with very young children or anyone with mobility issues staying in that room.

Taxi only $10 from airport. $20 from city. Comfortable stay. Recommended.

Clean and modern apartment at a central location. Perfect place to stay after a long flight.

The shower didn’t really have warm water and there was no air conditioning for most parts of the apartment (only for the upper room, where the additional beds are).
