Really nice, lovely, family style hotel. Got this tip from a friend and we were not disappointed! Nice food, fantastic location at the beach, excellent staff. Provided us with an excellent guide/driver for 5 day tour in Central Sri Lanka.

Excellent place for a holiday

The location is exceptional, it was right on the beach. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms were very clean and tidy.

The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was not only delicious but also reasonably priced. The sea view was absolutely stunning and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, my family and I had a great time at this hotel and would definitely recommend to others

The price was great, the bed was big, the view of the ocean was great, the bathroom was clean, the staff were very friendly. Overall this hotel is very cheap and perfect for couples or younger people who are looking for a budget room, with a stunning view, nice outdoor seating and funky bar. Worth the money.

The air con did not work very well at all, there was no hot water so the shower was freezing (even in a hot country like Sri Lanka you need a bit of warm water), some coffee sachets would have been nice, and it would have been nice if the T.V. was working so we had something to do when the baby was sleeping. All in all this is a great hotel but it is ultimately a budget hotel, but on Booking.com it sounds a little more luxurious than it is.

An excellent small hotel (6 rooms) on the beach and all rooms are sea facing. The rooms are large and very well decorated with fridge, TV and large shower room, spa shower with music and beautifully tiled walls and floors. It has a modern look inside the hotel. The owner is very hard working, generous and helpful. He will ensure you are comfortable and happy. He also runs a local charity (registered in Sri Lanka and in Netherlands) that supports over 30 orphans in a local orphanage. All staff are exceptionally helpful and polite. The restaurant is excellent with Sri Lankan, Western and Chinese cuisine as well tasty sea foods prepared to the highest standard. All food is freshly prepared. Paid in excess of what Booking.com had advertised for as VAT at 15% was charged extra in spite of what my booking documents said.

Very nice hotel with amazing beach in a beautiful location. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. No problem to get any vegetarian/vegan food.

It's a little paradise with the best prices!!!!! Top service and really really kind staff ;) we enjoyed it so much. we had here everything we needed. It exceeded our expectations and that's why we stayed longer than we had planned.

We chose this hotel to adapt after a long flight. The hotel is on the first line, away from noisy places and the railway. Clean beach, but not safe for swimming with children. You can walk 5 minutes but no one is cleaning the beach there. There are always free sunbeds in the garden that can be moved anywhere, but you always had to ask for a mattress and a towel and wait a long time. In the evening they turn on the lights in the garden - very beautiful! The owner helped with organizing a surprise morning greeting for my husband (birthday). We opted for the all-inclusive option so we didn't have to worry about food upon arrival. As a result, we were not hungry, but it was not clear how to choose food: either they simply set the table for us, or according to the menu (drinks are not included in the price).

Difficulties with the organization of the all-inclusive option. Opaque scheme. A very caring owner, whose interest sometimes grew into an annoying promotion of services. When the electricity went out (which is natural for the island), it became very stuffy in the room. The generator could handle the needs of the kitchen or the light downstairs, but not the coolness. We spent more than 1 month on the island, traveling, there is something to compare. There no shop in 5 min walk, even restorant.

Great food and selection. Room was big with great views and very clean. Power points for all types of plugs was useful. Staff are very friendly and owner can take you on tour around which was great. Right on the beach so is a great spot.

Beautiful spot on the beach, rooms with balconies facing the ocean. And a friendly pet Labrador, Toby, on the premises.

The hot water shower took a while to get going.

-The fridge was for money; -complimentary water in the room was out of date; -water pressure was quite weak for washing long hair.

The hotel owner Nilanthi was very friendly. His attitude very well, and food was natural as we wanted.. We travelled 7 days, but this hotel was best one... Even many hotel more was more expensive, but was not good. I am happy. Dr Ismail Azhari Dhaka, Bangladesh

Friendly staff. Very close to the beach

Straight on the beach, in very isolated, calm area between the sea and the river, that makes it quite special for Sri Lanka. The hotel does not have many rooms (and all rooms are facing the sea) and for almost one week we were the only tourists. We had full attention from the hotel staff, every meal was cooked specifically for us, at the time when we wanted and how we requested. The seafood was great! The room itself was big (we had triple room), clean, nice shower, great balcony with a view. Sometimes when electricity was down as it is still usual thing in Sri Lanka, hotel staff had to turn on generators, basically just for us - so we have not had any inconveniences because of that. I'd say the service was exclusive and really great. And given the price - it is hard to wish anything more.

Nothing specific to the hotel. The sea sometimes is rough (and I like the waves personally, had a swim every day), but perhaps it is not suitable for children or older people. For me however - almost flawless stay.

i was checking 3days back.. no any support to keep the baggage inside the room... so many times i went down to the take my beverage..and also checking out day no one support to me bring down my baggages.. i paid lot but no any customer service.. i will never go again.. this place..

A hotel with a family atmosphere, great helpful staff, excellent cuisine (they will prepare any kind of food - world and local and at any hour, fresh fish and seafood are also on the menu). A beautiful bay with a sandy beach with coconut palms, the bay has breakwaters made of stones on the sides in the sea, so even small children can swim safely here.

That’s not a hotel, something like a guesthouse not more. Very old all of facilities, bathroom is dirty and needed repair. If you want to clean room, you have to ask the staff, because they don’t change the towels, don’t pick up the trash… in the room were ants When you arrive to the coconut bay, in the room you have a bottle of water, but the next is for extra cost. The breakfast was not bad, but for 5 days it was the same, coffee was terrible You can have a lunch or dinner very cheap, but no so tasty. The Wi-Fi was bad!!! The staff was very obsessive. I’m not recommending to stay here, maybe just for one night.
