The location is stunning. The casa is extremely comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom is very modern, and the whole place is spotlessly clean

The place is absolutely beautiful! The view of the lake from the living room window, wow. The house is designed amazing and well equipped with everything you'll need for your stay. The service is just great, Raul was there for anything we asked

flies are a pain and wasps. could maybe do with some citronella outside and one of them fly zappers inside.

The house had everything we needed. Some lovely touches like automatic blinds and a wonderfu lvelux window in the bedroom. The location is stunning too.

There is no wifi or signal but it’s a good excuse to escape from civilisation for a bit. Just worried me in case something happened as we couldn’t communicate at all with anyone unless you get the car and back to the closest village.

Gorgeous view of the lake, peaceful, no distractions. Hiking near the Sierra de Castril is stunning. We needed to disconnect so not having internet or phone coverage at the house was perfect for us. The village of Castril is a 10 min drive so we drove in once to pick up groceries and check messages. The interior design is thoughtful, creative, comfortable, natural and stylish. We wanted to hide out for a long weekend so we were pleased to find a fully functioning and well designed kitchen. The bathroom and shower are super spacious. The house was impeccably clean. We were there for a winter weekend and appreciated having lots of firewood for the wood stove (the firewood was included in the price). There was also electric heating but the wood stove was mostly all we needed. Communication with Antonio was easy and clear. (We communicated in Spanish but most of the communication was by WhatsAppp and we could have used Google translate if needed.)

The fly curtains were noisy in the winter wind. Next time we would see about removing them since they're not needed during this season.
