Very limited utensils in the kitchen for cooking. No cutting board, no coffee machine, no saucepan.... No airconditioning in Master bedroom.

The location was simply amazing. Spectacular views of the Italian countryside and convenient walking distance to a really nice cafe/bar as well as a supermarket. The town of Macerata was a few minutes drive and easy to get to. The hotel layout was unique really highlighted by the pool/lounge area that you could spend hours at. At night, the sky was lit up with stars and away from the city lights and noise - it's very quiet and comfortable. The rooms were spacious (and the one we had was equipped with a full kitchen and cooking supplies, which was helpful for a 5 day stay). The staff was extremely friend (Claudia in particular), was available and very helpful for any issues, questions, or needs. The pool was kept up well and was great after a long hot summer day.

The AC worked but it was tricky to figure out and the beds weren't the most comfortable but it was fine. There are a lot of lizards and bugs crawling around (sometimes inside) but that's expected as the residence is in the countryside. The rooms are private but the set-up once you walk outside isn't as much, so be prepared for that. No issues with noise. Overall, these issues are very minor and wouldn't keep me from coming back and staying there. I think it's definitely the best option to stay in Macerata (after researching a lot of places). Breakfast wasn't included but there was a nearby restaurant (walking 2 minutes) that was excellent and inexpensive!
