Location and views are spectacular. Loads to do nearby and easy to get to and from local attractions. Our hosts were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of great recommendations and advice.

Everything was amazing! Monique and Hans are the best. The photos do not capture the beauty of this place. We were served an amazing breakfast the first day and welcomed with open arms.

Most beautiful lodging, both in terms of style and nature. And, maybe even more important - the hosts Monique and Hans are so welcoming and friendly in a relaxed and heartfelt way that one feels at home instantly.

The location of the Lodge was perfect. It was so peaceful yet conveniently located to the town and beach. Every morning we opted for breakfast that was served on deck at the main house giving us a beautiful view to start the day. Our host was a lovely young man called Sander. He and his crew were attentive and full of suggestions of what to do during our stay. Overall this stay was our favorite part of our Costa Rican experience.

The internet was very intermittent and poor and unfortunately we had no phone service there either.

.Literally all of it .Uvita is a special place and Bali Bosque Retreat is the right place to experience Uvita the best way Its up on the mountain, but only five minutes drive from the main road and Uvita center and 8 minutes to the beach. It's in .the middle of the Jungle but with a pool to relax in .With that being said you will need a 4*4 to get there The room is surrounded with a huge balcony and all cabins are secluded, so the "neighbors" are monkeys that may come .to say hello if you get lucky The main house is open for you 24/7 and it has a stunning view to enjoy from. There is a small waterfall 5 minutes walk .from it Maybe most important, the owners or better say the hosts are AMAZING. So nice and welcoming, ready to help you anytime, give you recommendation for Uvita and the area and for Costa Rica in general or anything else in need. the hosts and "Chico" the dog will be more than happy to show you around their little farm, explain about the unique plants they have and more. All in all, we highly recommend Bali Bosque Retreat. Have fun.

My wife and I are very glad we came to this place , from the moment we came until the minute we left everything was especial, the place itself is magic , surrounded by nature, no mosquitos or bugs because the altitude is just perfect, the breeze, the birds and iguanas, night time is just beautiful to appreciate a sky full and I mean full of stars, I have never seen so many stars in my life , the cabin was just beautiful, come with a kitchen so we had breakfast every morning, and I have to say that the owners Monique and Hans made our stay simply wonderful, we can’t wait to come back....love it!!!!!

Beautiful views and incredible wooden architecture. Petunia the Pig stole my heart as well :)
