The apartment is spacous, modern (inside), and has all the amenities you could want. We had a large balcony patio that was very nice. It was one of the better apartments we have rented. We picked the location to be near the train station so we would not have to haul luggage through the town and it was perfect for that. It did mean a short hike into Varenna but we prefer the less touristy neighborhoods. The owners are responsive and helpful.

The only issue was that we didn't have hot water for 24 hours and it also went out one other time. However, the owner figured out how to tell me to reset it and that solved the problem. A plumber came out after the 2nd time and made sure everything was fixed. It was a new tankless water heater so that is an unusual problem. Everything in the apartment is newer and good quality.

The location of the property was great! It was really close to the centre of Varenna but also really close to the ferry station for when you wanted to visit other villages on Lake Como. The apartment itself was very clean and modern, with great facilities! Andrea (the host) was great and always available on the booking.com chat if we had any questions and made it very clear how to get into the apartment. It was a really great stay and would highly recommend.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.

The location for this property is unreal - only a short walk to the Varenna ferry wharf which has regular ferries that take you to Menaggio, Bellagio, Como and all the other key spots. Further, it is only a very short walk (3mins) from the Varenna train station. The size of the apartment was perfect for two travellers, and all the kitchen utilities proved incredibly handy when needed.

It was clean nice apartment. The bed was comfy. WiFi worked greate. Kitchen fully equipt.

The train station is very near, so a bit loud, becouse of trains and tourists.

Andrea is a FANTASTIC host. Her apartment is in a great location and has everything you need. She went out of her way to help us manage through one of the legendary Italian rail strikes too!

Very comfortable bed and apartment close to train station and port. Sound proof so we slept very well and enjoy sitting outside on the balcony and enjoy a glass of wine.

Just missing a microwave.

The apartment was well located, just a short walk to the ferry in Varenna. The apartment was spacious, very clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. The WiFi was fast. Having a full kitchen and washing machine was very convenient. The air conditioning worked extremely well on the hot days. Our host was helpful and responsive throughout the entire stay.
