We loved the location of the apartment (in the Kasbah part of Mazara del Vallo), the decor of the apartment and the little touches to make our stay comfortable. The hosts provided us with a fully stocked fridge with breakfast items and drinks. Just 1 min away, there is a (quite) small mini market, a cafe, a bakery and a frozen fish shop. I’d recommend checking out the bakery and the frozen fish shop on the first day if you are intending to cook. Loved the decor - very Arabian to reflect the past of Mazara. Also was nice to have a second toilet. It was really easy to find parking on the quay. And getting in and out of Mazara was a breeze (with GPS). Our hosts were available for questions all the time via WhatsApp which we really appreciated. This was one of the nicer apartments we’ve stayed in so far during our three week tour of Sicily. Recommended.

It’s mosquito season all over Sicily in October and mosquitoes love the dark and are also difficult for us humans to find. Perhaps those mosquito repellents that one sticks into the electricity sockets may have helped a little. We kept all windows closed the whole time.

What an amazing place! Very interesting and uniquely decorated rooms in the old Tunisian-flavoured town. Lots of space inside the property, very comfortable. The atmosphere was very well thought out. Good AC. We loved our time here.

Air conditioning in both bedrooms -- really important. Good bathroom and toilet + a separate toilet. Interesting Arab decor. Very central location.

We only had non-cooked breakfasts there -- people staying longer who want to self-cater for all their meals might find the kitchen and equipment slightly cramped and limiting (Eg no board for cutting bread, very slow running hot tap for washing up, no plate/ dish-holder on the draining board, things like that)

A true immersive experience in the heart of the Kashbah. This apartment is beautifully decorated to the tiniest detail. The pictures already show how beautiful this property is but it's definitely even more impressive live. Our hosts were so helpful and knowledgeable, we were greeted by them at the property and they helped us find a parking spot and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy the most of the Kashbah. We were even given a welcome souvenir and a little walk to hidden spots within the Kashbah which was great addition to an already very welcoming experience. We look forward to go back to Mazara and stay at Mirabilia on our next trip to Sicily.

We loved staying there! My kids said they wished they could stay for a month! I didn’t take any photos inside because it looks exactly like their pictures posted 🥰. It even has a tub! The air conditioner worked so well!

It’s by the main road and really loud traffic at night. But not unbearable.
