Very big room, clean, close to the beach, good wifi

There was no restaurant at the hotel even though it was written on booking.com. I was informed about this after my booking was confirmed. There are options but very limited also no supermarket nearby. Still a very nice hotel to relax and recharge.

We have traveled across the south coast and accidentally found this lovely hotel. It is a gem spot. Clean and cozy, ideally located: close to the ocean and far from the noisy Sri Lanka streets. Value for money compared to other hotels we stay at during our trip. Owned by the friendly and helpful guy Ilya who can help you with any information about surrounding places and Sri Lank in general. Recommend for those who are tired of "very nice" and "five stars" Sri Lanka owned hotels that are good only on photos.

Green Parrot is the best place we have lived in Sri Lanka. Really a gem spot. It is very calm, peaceful and quiet. Felt more like a private villa of your friends rather than a hotel. The beach is close, stunningly beautiful and empty. Nice and clean pool.  Rooms are spacious, spotless, cozy and perfectly thought-through. Look the same as on pictures, even better, which rarely happens in Sri Lanka. There is no need for adapters: all power sockets are adapted to European. No gaps anywhere: no chance for insects to get to a room. No dusty mosquito nets needed. If some small bug finds its way into your room, maybe it’s because of the open window left. But come on, this is Asia, you knew where you were going. There is nothing scary about that.  The host Ilya was extremely helpful and friendly. Always ready to help with any question. Always available. One of the best hosts I’ve ever met.  Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

The restaurant was closed due to not so many tourists (consequences of a covid pandemic). We knew this before the arrival, Ilya notified us at once. Therefore it was surely not something we were disappointed with. There was a kitchen open for everyone who was willing to cook and several restaurants nearby. So it was not at all a problem for us.

Charming and cozy place. Location is perfect for those who wants to escape crowds and noise: here you will find silence, relaxation, an empty picturesque beach, clean pool. The host Illya is a very friendly nice person, supported us with any request. Our room was nicely designed and had everything you may need. Bed was large and comfortable. Thank you Illya for an excellent service! We will definitely come back!

Very spacious and tidy rooms. Well maintained. The Beach access is the best part and it's very cozy. You can see lots and lots of birds in the pond in front.

Green Parrot was the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka! Fantastic location surrounded by palm trees and close to a stunning beach, beautiful and spacious rooms, super clean and homely and the manager Ilia was really responsive and helpful. We extended our stay and didn't want to leave.

Very well designed and comfortable resort. The beach is on the doorstep and it’s stunning - it is very wide and has very few people around. Ilia was a very warm and accommodating host and made us feel very welcome which we really appreciated. It is a great place to enjoy a few quiet days away from the more touristy beaches.

The kitchen was shut at the time but we were informed about this beforehand. There are a few restaurants very close to the hotel that serve good food so it wasn’t much of an inconvenience to us.

Very cosy place with super hospitable owner. Few steps to the wild very long and beautiful beach. Few km away is the rock pool- where are no waves and easy to swim. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool at the hotel. Kitchenette is nice to have a breakfast at home. There is Even a small library to share books. We liked the place a lot.

Very isolated and nothing around it. The value for money is not exceptional for Sri Lanka. Good place for a family (or an old couple) who doesn’t want to move too much. I wouldn’t recommend for young guys.

Clean, comfortable rooms, nice pool in the garden, very caring and friendly staff. We’ve stayed for 1 night only, but still enjoyed this place. Could stay longer :)

We ask for a takeaway breakfast, they said that it will be delivered in our room in the evening but nothing.
