Location

Dated block of units. Premium priced, BYO toilet paper (never before has that been requested) No Air Con, No hair dryer, No 'care package' ie; Tea coffee etc. Garage was old style, small (had a friends car luckily, as mine would not have fitted), lock on garage was broken.

Accommodation was not 5 star but clean and comfortable and within walking distance to all.

Parking garage was to small for our car and had to use another undercover spot that was allocated to another unit lucky it was quite.

To many nick nacks & the bed in the spare room squeaked all night when my daughter turned anywhere.

Unit was right opposite the lake near the entrance. perfect location with a short stroll to the shops and restaurants. Unit was very clean with all the ammenities. Fans were in each room so great when warm but no air conditioning. perfect for afternoon walks around the lake and point. TV in each room so pleasant for an afternoon rest watching the box.

on Friday and Saturday night the car park opposite seems to attract young people who are a bit noisy as teenagers are with their cars until about 3am. which is distracting. so best for me I’d week getaways Monday to Thursday nights. Second room bunk beds were a bit uncomfortable for an adult if required. more suitable to young children but main bedroom very good.

All beds were extremely comfortable. The mattress especially in the main bedroom was the best of any accommodation I have previously stayed in. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with good quality appliances, crockery and cutlery. The range of cooking utensils was the most extensive of anywhere I have stayed.

The lounge was showing its age and was uncomfortable after a while. The garage had various items belonging to the owner including Kayaks and bikes. We have a medium SUV and it took a lot of care to park it in the available space. A very minor point, in our opinion there was an over abundance of beachy themed ornaments in the unit, these were not a major issue as they were moved to the one location.

The unit was very close to the beach and the location was lovely.

The property requires a $500 bond. Be very careful as the owners are not transparent regarding the use of the bond. On arrival the blinds did not operate as expected and one of the slats broke. Despite explaining this to Eastcoast Holiday Rentals, the bond was withheld. That’s after paying over $1000 for a 3 night stay. The after sale customer service was terrible. I will never use this agency again.

Very close to all amenities and the beach. Has ceiling fans in all rooms which made the stay comfortable. The apartment was fully furnished which helps when travelling with young kids.

The garage was full of furniture and other things making it extremely hard to fit my car. Also, the house was over furnished in my opinion with decorations and items such as photo frames and stuffed animals which was hard to keep the kids away from playing with.

Everything we needed was there
