Room was ideal, good size and a few surprises. Tastefully decorated, colours were lovely, nicely stocked. Bed was lovely and comfortable.

There was no signal for the TV on main channels. The description said there were shampoo and conditioner but there wasn't.

The room was comfortable. Clean, tidy and the bathroom was also maintained and provisioned to a high standard. Monday evening quiz evening was fun even as a team of one with no hope of competing.

The sound and light proofing of the room. Being on a small roundabout traffic slowing and accelerating made for a disturbed night and the intensity of the street lights could have been improved if the curtains had been fitted with a pelmet. The one breakfast and one evening meal I had were adequate but nothing special given the prices. The bar is expensive and the single spirit measures barely wet the bottom of the glass.

Room was NOT cleaned even though we placed the cleaning tag on the door had to go to reception for second days milk and tea bags. expected an apartment got a room! with a small reduction in rate.

Expected superior room to be bigger. For £180 breakfast should be included and preferably with hot options. Walk-in shower just means water all over bathroom floor.

The cost increased 100% because the Great Yorkshire Show was on. This is profiteering as it should be first come first served, not increase price just because you can. Unfortunately all hotels do the same.

Perfect & luxe stay in the countryside. I loved the beautiful bathtub and thoughtful little touches. The in-room coffee provided was artisan ground coffee with a french cafetiere. The pictures don't do this inn justice - look forward to returning.
