Le personnel a eu la gentillesse de nous surclasser à notre arrivée avec verre de bienvenue et le lendemain la surprise d’avoir une bouteille de champagne ! Magnifique! Le buffet du petit dej est super bien garni et délicieux ! Tout au top avec chouette roof top😀 Et le personnel super aimable et de bon conseil..

The receptionist guy helped us to rent a car and plan our hikes, which was absolutely amazing. The hotel is a block away from the most touristy places and you can meet their alive Portuguese people not only tourists! 🙃

Excellent location and a beautiful rooftop terrace bar with a wonderful view. Located right in the centre of old town. Amazing breakfast, wide variety of veggies, eggs, fresh fruits, cakes… We parked at Parque de Estacionamento Almirante Reis as the hotel has discounted parking tickets for this garage.

The bed was a little hard for me, you could feel the springs.

Tasty and varied breakfast. The room was nice and spacious enough and the glass walled bathroom is... Interesting! We slept very well, very comfortable beds! There's a nice and very decorated rooftop where you can enjoy a free drink if you've booked through Booking.com and enjoy the views of city, mountain and ocean. The staff was attentive and friendly.

Didn't have that much storage room for clothes. They have a parking agreement with a parking lot around 5-minute walking distance, which is nice to have in that very difficult to park town, but you have to pay for the daily ticket anyway.

because I arrived in busy time to Madeira I think I got the older version of a room.

position is perfect if you’re without a car

Exceptional location and walkable to everything. Beautiful rooftop bar with fado on Wednesdays. Priscilla was amazing and made me feel immediately welcome. This is a hotel that goes above and beyond for its guests. Gorgeous rooms with balcony view. I enjoyed just laying on the bed and letting the ocean breeze soothe me after a long flight. Would highly recommend.

Given the quality of everything else in this fine hotel, the bed mattresses could have been better.

A brilliant welcome from a friendly and helpful team. Lovely quirky hotel with well proportioned room and good facilities. The roof top bar is eclectic and has wonderful views. It's opening times are limited though. Breakfast was delicious with a great range of options. The roof top bar tapas were very nice though options quite limited. Wonderful location in the heart of old Funchal right next to the Cathedral: restaurants, cafes, bars and the waterfront on your doorstep and a taxi rank 5 minutes walk away. The sparkling wine treat on our last evening was a lovely unexpected gift from the hotel team. Delightful and would recommend to anyone wanting a quirky boutique hotel in the centre of Funchal.

The hotel is exceptional, offering great service and staff who are incredibly kind and attentive. To top it off, they also provide a private pool that can be booked exclusively for your use.

The bar on the terrace could use some more cleaning on the tables

The staf is so lovely. They will do anything for you to give you an amazing stay. Also the location in the central is great.

The location was great for downtown Fuchal's dining and night life. The rooftop terrace was a nice bonus.

Common areas are a lot nicer than the actual rooms.

The staff here are excellent- Friendly and made great recommendations. Location is perfect for eating out and exploring the local area. The room was large with space for clothes and a small fridge.

Would have preferred if the bathroom had more privacy as there was a glass door. We booked the pool in the morning for an evening swim but sadly it was too cold to enjoy.

what is not to like? we loved this perfect little hotel in the heart of the historical dostrict! It is also an IG dream for photo spots from the indoor pool glamour to the garden rooftop! The staff is truly special, so kind and welcoming! Priscila you are the best!

The rooms are pretty basic but have everything you need and are very clean. bed was a little too firm for my taste, but pillows all were excellent. Hardly spent any time on the room as there was so many great spaces in the hotel. indoor pool was not heated, that would have been nice but a great spot for photos!

Rooms and particularly bathrooms need to be updated.

The breakfast was very good. Excellent selection ,nicely presented buffet. The staff, from Vlad on the reception desk when I arrived, to Ana, Priscilla and the breakfast room staff and all the others were kind, courteous and very good at their job.

The shower door didn't close tightly so lots of water went on the floor outside. Also the shower door knob kept falling off and was so small you couldn't grip it. The bed was very hard and the springs dug into me.
