Lovely, serene place to stay with beautiful gardens and a great pool/tennis court. The owners were friendly and hospitable - we really enjoyed finding out more about the history of the house and area. Their knowledge really helped us to understand a little more about the region and made it easier to know where to find certain places. Thoroughly recommend!

Rui and Fernanda were marvelous hosts, extremely cordial, and helpful in pointing us to good restaurants and places to explore in the area. The historical house and grounds are superb and very well maintained. The swimming pool, spacious gardens, friendly dogs and barbecue area are perfect for families with children. All in all, a memorable stay, in a wonderful environment!

Rui and family were fantastic hosts and were extremely helpful in providing tips on places to visit and eat. Nothing was too much trouble. We loved the beautiful manicured gardens, ample warm pool and tennis court and the accommodation was full of history, charm and extremely spacious for a family of four. We can’t recommend this place highly enough and would love to visit again. A real find!
