We were promptly picked up at the airport taken to our place. The unit exceeded our expectations and more importantly Charles proved to not only a great resource on all things to do in Chaing Mai he went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. He booked us a couple of tours which were first class and the entire family enjoyed them. I was fortunate enough to rent a motorcycle and went for an amazing ride with Charles. Unfortunately as the ride was about to end I was involved in an accident when a young Thai boy struck my motorcycle with his scooter. Long story short Charles and many of the locals that Charles knows helped me though this ordeal. Charles took me to the hospital helped me and waited patiently with me for the entire time. He is a really good person and has a great sense of humour. My family and I would highly recommend this property or any others that Charles has.

Great place, great location
The place is in a great location, walking distance to everything. And Charles made everything incredibly easy. He has information and connections to every place you would want to go in the area. I would highly recommend this place for all ages!

Spacious, Well Located Apartment in the Old City
Charles is the consummate host. He picked us up from the hotel we first stayed in, with an immediate outpouring of guidance on Chiang Mai, the surrounding areas, and services that he offered to personally arrange to make our stay as seamless as possible. He has documented a slew of restaurants that he has personally taste-tested and provides directions, insights, and about everything you'll need to know to take full advantage of the apartment and surrounding area.
We stayed in the apartment for 18 of our 28 days in Chiang Mai. Our goal was to wander the city and experience Chiang Mai at a very leisurely pace. The apartment made this incredibly easy - "the book" (everything's in "the book") has pictures, descriptions, and well thought out advice on Chiang Mai. If it's not in the book, Charles knows about it and can help.
Charles setup an overnight tour to Pai with a local guide, Tukta, who safely guided us from Chiang Mai to Pai with various stops and commentary along the way. The above are all bonuses that supplement the spacious two bedrooms, two baths (showers), a full kitchen with microwave, oven, full-size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, cooktop, and pots/pans, knives, cooking utensils, etc. Honestly, there was no need to cook with so many very good local restaurants in the immediate area.
Situated right behind Wat Phra Singh Woramahawihan, we started each day with a walk through the temple grounds to the front of the temple reveling in its beauty and the constant flow of monks and novices.
We've stayed in some of the finest hotels -- Charles' guidance and attention to details rank among the best of the concierges who have helped us over the years. We highly recommend this apartment and any other accommodations that Charles offers. He's genuine and his assistance is fantastic.

Perfection in the Details
We booked this stay just like any other and we’ve done many on the “other” platform. From the moment we booked it was one great interaction after another. Charles picked us up at the airport, gave us some tips on the city, and introduced us to his famous “book”. This is the book he has curated over the years that pretty much covers all the subjects and things you might want to do and lists the “best of”.
He introduced us to Tukata whom we hired to drive us to the tea village outside of Chiang Mai and to several important temples. She was so great we hired her for the next two days. Her English is great and she is simply an awesome lady!
The apartment is clean, spacious, perfectly located. The details I refer to in the title include the great DeLonghi coffee machine and the great coffee beans and grinder provided!
All in all, I am a tough customer and a bit nit picky and there is literally nothing I would change and we can’t wait to come back!

Charles is a fantastic host - take him up on booking the best experiences/tours for you. The property is exactly as described - fantastic location walkable to all things in the old city. We found the recommendations in the book Charles provides in the townhouse very helpful - he’s thought of everything anyone visiting Chiangmai might want or need to know. Transport to and from airport a real bonus. Beautiful kitchen fully furnished if you have an urge to cook - we were too busy trying all the local restaurants. Fabulous!

Charles was very accessible and helpful in coordinating tours and reservations before we arrived.
The property was very clean, and had a modern feel to it. Charles was very accessible with any questions, or help needed. He was just a text away with very prompt responses. The only problem we had was he dropped us off at the airport too close to our departure time which found us running to the gate. With that said, that was a minor hiccup compared to everything done right by the owner and property. I would definitely stay again and recommend when in Chiang Mai.

I can't say enough about this property. Every thing worked, was spotless and in a great location. I thin k though it's finest tribute is the owner, Charles. He is attentive, quick to respond and even picked us up at the airport. I would stay here again.

Chiang Mai house
The location is inside the wall of the old city, on the western side. This made it convenient to get around. Charles picked us up from and took us back to the airport without any additional charges, which I found very generous. He gave many suggestions verbally, and he has a book of his favorite restaurants around town. The house is loaded with gadgets from an espresso maker to a tv with hundreds of channels across the world. The pictures are true to the home.

As our host drove us back to the airport at the end of our month-long stay, my wife quite rightly told him that he is the best landlord we have ever had in fifty years of marriage. Not only did he take us out to lunch in one of his favourite local restaurants to acquaint us with the neighbourhood, but he also took us to the local supermarket to buy our groceries and then helped us to unload them. His local knowledge, printed in his coffee table book of restaurants, favourite dishes, and various sites and contacts, is truly encyclopedic, as is his knowledge of movies and Netflix series, hundreds of which have been uploaded to the 60-inch Samsung Smart TV in the front room. He gave us at least a dozen suggestions for movies to watch, along with thoughtful advice about which places to visit, and which ones to avoid. We regularly followed his advice, taking a temple tour with a former Buddhist monk who was enlightening in a very secular way, a full-day trip to Doi Inthanon, Thailand's highest mountain, and a full-day tour on the 100-km loop to Samoeng, with a host of attractions along the way. Our excursions were made in luxury vans at reasonable prices with a careful and considerate local driver. Because Charles had visited every elephant sanctuary, every wat, and every regional attraction, his advice was always authoritative and unfailingly helpful. In the process, he became a friend as well as a landlord, and he made our month-long stay one of the best in decades of traveling about Europe, Asia, and North America. As for the condo itself, the leather couches and large beds were very comfortable, the Wifi and TV were hi-tech enough to allow me to watch the winter Olympics on a VPN network from Canada, and the kitchen was well-equipped for eating and drinking, though not always for cooking. (A single lidded pot and a small frying pan were the only stove implements available, although a rice-cooker was provided.) Yet an online account for home delivery from at least a hundred restaurants in Chiang Mai was available, and we used it often for a small delivery fee of $2.50.Although the Chinese decorator was a little over the top in his choice of colours (mostly red and black) and of paintings and wooden furniture, we got used to it, even the open water closet and open shower (more like a car wash) in the gigantic master bedroom. In sum, I can only say that this is truly a home away from home, particularly in Asia, and we would return in a heartbeat.

Convenient and Comfortable
We stayed in the town house March,3rd to March,7/18, It’s a great location in the old city. We were pick-up at the airport a given a quick tour around the old city and then onto the house to go over how everything worked there. It has a very modern feel. The location is in an alley which turned out to be nice as there was very little traffic and it was quite. We hired one of Charles drivers for 1 day to tour around to a few different locations that was a good day. Charles was fast to respond to any questions or concerns we had. The beds were comfortable and the house was very well equipped. We stayed in the bottom suite so we did have people above us which had a little one that liked to get up around 4:00am and run around for half an hour but that was the only negative the floor must have been properly constructed as we didn’t hear normal walking or conversation in our suite. There is very little outside room on the property to sit outside so if you like to hang outside it’s not great. I would stay again if returning to Chiang Ma.i

Awesome ! The home and its location were amazing, every detail was spot on! Thanks again Charles!!
This place could not have been any better, every detail was thought thru! The host was great in every way, he made the reservations for the excursions, gave us a detailed tour of the city after picking us up from the airport, every host should take note from his example, did not miss a thing!
The one regret is that our stay in your beautiful home was too short, but next time we will make sure that we spend way more time in Chiang mai and your awesome house! Thanks again for a great time, hope we meet again soon!

THE BEST HOUSE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IN CHIANG MAI
The hoste with the most
Nothing was a problem. Airport pick up and drop off. Location was spot on. A short walk from everywhere but far enough so no noise.
The house has every gadget you can think of and add a few more. My only regret was we didn't stY long enough. Charles know all the right places so please talk to him before booking anything. We stayed as a family of 4 for 4 days but we should of stayed for 7+ as we misssed out on so much. He did say but we had brought we knew best and got it wrong.
Would we go back ?
most definitely, don't miss out on the north and don't miss out on one of charles houses.

Exceptional place to stay in Chiang Mai
I travel extensively, and this was by far one of the top five places I have stayed, possibly the top. The decorations was Euro-Thai - exquisite. Fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with two bathrooms. Even a local Thai phone to use during the stay. I hope to use some of the décor as ideas for my home.
The location is very convenient - near Wat Pra Singh, and the huge sunday night market.
Charles provided transportation from and to the train station, great service.
I plan to stay there, or one of the associated properties, again.
