The pub is in a very good location on the high street. It has a car park at the back for guests. The room was clean if basic. Good shower. A couple of cafes nearby for breakfast seeing as the pub doesn't serve any food. Had dinner at Jicsaw, the Thai restaurant, it was fabulous. Key box on the wall so you can drop keys and go when you want in the morning.
I was in the outside annex which consists of 3 rooms. I had the middle room. There was only one window and it was in the bathroom. It looks out onto a wall. There is an internal window but no natural light other than that so I found the room quite claustrophobic. There was no bedside lamp.
There was a couple staying in one of the rooms next to mine and I could hear their movements and conversation very clearly. So the walls are thin. Unfortunately one of them snored loudly for most of the night and I heard this very clearly. So light sleepers beware.

Location great in centre of town
The room was off the beer garden so very noisy if you like to go to bed before midnight!

Bit hot to start with, easily cooled down 👍

Nice location and great parking to the rear of the pub. It was good that the room had its own “front door” access. Room was very clean and super cosy! I loved the homely decor because it made it feel as if I was staying in someone’s home and not a hotel.
My only criticism was that the curtains were not black-out enough. The unfortunate thing is, there is a really bright street lamp right outside the window and it’s shining through the curtains as you try to get to sleep.

mostly fine - just as wanted
Some noise from bar late evening (Saturday night) inhibited sleep. My room was directly above the bar.
