Muy lindo lugar, bien decorado. Tiene una terraza hermosa para comprar algo y comer o tomar ahí. El desayuno es espectacular, muy completo. va variando pero en general tiene pan (muy rico) y fiambres con palta o huevo. Agregan algún yogurt y algún extra. La habitación también en líneas generales ok.
Lo malo para nosotros es la gestión. Lo peor es que nos dieron una habitación con la ventana rota. Y no tenían forma de solucionarlo. Súper buena voluntad de los empleados pero tampoco podían hacer mucho. Nos ofrecían habitaciones que directamente no ventilaban! Así que tuvimos que quedarnos con la habitación con la ventana rota, abierta todas las noches. Nadie la arregló. Lo otro malo es que el wifi no andaba en la habitación. Trataron de arreglar el repetidor del piso 2 pero siguió sin andar. En términos generales el lugar es bueno y la gente que lo atiende también, pero no dan a basto. En el desayuno uno puede estar esperando bastante porque las chicas hacen todo: cocinan, atienden, levantan, lavan. Otra cosa que es complicada es el tema del control del estacionamiento. Hay comentarios que dicen que está lejos, está a una cuadra, cosa que es bastante bueno siendo una zona patrimonial….. lo malo es que a la noche es complejo el hecho de qué hay un solo control para abrir el portón y que la zona no parece la más segura. A veces uno se queda esperando largo rato afuera a que venga la gente que fue a estacionar su auto.

Malgrat el disseny, molt interessant, li manca molt de manteniment. La finestra de l'habitació no tancava, ens en van donar una altra i la finestra tampoc tancava.

It looked attractive but was a dump
The wi-fi didn’t work, the breakfast was poor, the room hadn’t been cleaned properly and, arriving mid-evening, the check-in staff were really difficult to deal with

False information about the free shuttle to the airport. The lamp of the bedroom didn´t work. Bathroom didn´t work well. Bad conditions of the closet.

In first glimpse when you enter to the hotel it looks really nice. Location is close to many restaurants and bars.
Hotel stuff seemed all over the place during check in. Room has no A/C and the acoustic insultation does not exist. Rooms are separated by a thin plasterboard wall that you can hear all the conversations and...sounds.. from other rooms. Bed sheets and covers should be replaced. They are very old and discussing to touch. Breakfast could be much better. Scrabbled eggs, Nescafe instant coffee and some old slimy fruit and a sugary yogurt. The place has a lot of character and potential that could be turned into a very nice bistro hotel but needs a lot of work.

The hotel is well located, even though most places to go eat out close quite early so it was necessary to go somewhere else by car. The breakfast was good. The personnel was lovely with us, despite all the issues we had with our bedroom.
The bedroom was not clean, especially the bathroom and shower which looked like they had not been cleaned at all. Hotel staff apologized but it stayed dirty nevertheless. The toilet got blocked, but that was solved by the nice concierge. There was no hot water in the shower, it got solved for 5 minutes and then it was back to cold water. Internet did not work in our bedroom.

Nice entrance on an old house in the centre of the city.
Very small rooms, no curtains, just one very bright light you had te switch on and off near the door. Lots of cupboards, not very practical, no chair or bureau.
Very small bathroom. Glass front, no windows. It was light all night.
The bed linen looked like it was used before. Very small breakfast.

The staff are so friendly and try to please. The breakfast is very large and they try to cover all tastes, with cereal, yogourt, ham & cheese, toast or marraqueta, eggs, juice. They could make their mornings easier (and reduce waste) if they put some of the food out in a buffet but they never complained when we forgot to ask for something and they had to do more trips to the kitchen. The terrace is set up beautifully and is very comfortable. The entrance is very interesting and feels very safe and quiet even next to a busy street.
We stayed here soon after renovations were completed (or maybe while they were finishing). The room we were in still smelled very strongly of paint. Unfortunately for us, it was the only family room available and we could not change. The hot water was just warm and takes a long time to get to the family room. It may be different for the other rooms. They looked more finished. We visited La Serena during dieciocho so nothing was open within walking distance. Normally, it would be in a great location to visit the historic part of the city and some interesting restaurants.
