Lovely staff, very well equipped, loved the decor. Good location next to the beach and good restaurants.

amazing location very close to the beach and 2 great restaurants, the owner and the lady at check in are both fantastic in terms of being available and helpful. 2 bathrooms and a small living area were fine for our 3 day stay.

the outside space is dark and whilst there is a table and 2 chairs, they are in the corner of a communal stair area and no one would want to sit there I don’t think

It was perfect for our family and a great location. Hosts were wonderful and everything exceeded our expectations.

Air con in bedroom would have been good but was fine if door open as air con in lounge filtered through.

The rooms were modern and spacious. The whole facility has a maritime charm about it. There are excellent restaurants very close to the hotel and downtown Horta is an easy few minute walk.

Parking on the street next to the hotel can be challenging.

The location of this charming apartment can not be beat. Located in the Porto Pim Bay Area of Horta is a perfect place to enjoy Horta and everything magical on Faial.

Would have liked to have a few items left in the kitchen like tea or coffee.

Great location, very nice and responsive host, a bit expensive compared to other apartments, but not too expensive, a value for money, I would certainly rent it again.

Super location, the apartments are cozy and spacious and fully furnished.

The staff insisted several times, asking on our names upon our arrival, even if we spoke with them few moment before to advise we were arriving. I guess they had different arrivals at the same time but it was a bit confusing.

Location! Beach and nice restaurants around the corner. We travelled with 2 babies and 2 baby beds were ready upon arrival Communication with host went smoothly, we arrived earlier than expected and this was no issue

Cleaning service! There were dead smashed bugs on wall at multiple places around bed (I’m not talking about small musquito stain but few centimeters long insects hanging on the wall!) Also appartment was not even serviced once during our stay, even after specifically asking to empty trash bins Small improvements could be made, no shampoo, shower head broken, child chair broken (our youngest cut himself in leg),..

Located in the coolest bay of the island, perhaps of the wole archipelago, the apartment is big and bright. The check in is super fast and the girl is nice and helpful.

The furniture looks old fashioned and without AC the room is very hot. A balcon/terrace is missing as well as a common soace where to relax and chill.

Many restaurants and bakery nearby - wonderful location and an apartment with everything you need

COMMUNICATION WITH THE PEOPLE IN CHARGE Some time after check-in, I noticed that the batteries of the TV remote control were missing. I went to reception, it was closed and there are 2 pieces of paper there saying that if nobody is there you should call 2 different phones AT ANY TIME. Well, NONE of the phones answered for a looong time. Between 18H24 and 20H31, I tried the different numbers (including a fixed line) 15 times!!!!!!! Just imagine if it was a critical situation... At almost 21H00 (more than 2H30 after my 1st attempt), I got a call from the person who was there at check-in time; she told me that her working hours were up until 17H00 (!!!) although the paper who was visible in the reception said that contact was possible at ANY TIME. I said that the other telephone number (I was then it was the owner's), did not answer either. After a while, she called back (the employee) and told me she was going to deliver the batteries by taxi. As I was in the street by then (having dinner), she left them by the room door. The owner never took the time to phone me. and she knows that after 17H00 the employee will not normally answer the phone. She did it for me only because of the number of times I called. The other confusion was with the invoice. Only today could I get a proper invoice, although I checked out 12 days ago. And I had to phone the employee (more than once) and write emails to the owner) to get it. This involves the owner telling me (in writing, of course) about a confusing method of doing things via a strange Booking email which I NEVER experienced in ANY of the many many many times I have used Booking in so many years. I believe the owner of this place uses that method because of the lack of customer-oriented approach she has, as it was proven by the arrival day's incident. I repeat: CAN YOU IMAGINE IF MY REASON FOR CALLING WAS AN EMERGENCY SITUATION???

Extremely friendly and helpful owners. Best location in Horta, there are 2 very nice Restaurants next to the appartements. (we could have dinner while the Kids were sleeping in the appartement (Babyfon). The beach is located directly behind the appartement. It is a beautiful beach, great for swimming and as a playground for the Kids. Kajaks, Toys for Kids and beach towels are available at the Appartement for free. Our Appartement was also air conditioned (Top Appartement, directly under the roof). Horta is also a great place to go to Pico Island. You can take the rental car (you have to buy the ferry tickets at the ferry port office in advance and then buy extra insurance at the Rental company). Then it's easy and a great trip! There are parking spots available in the road Next to the appartement. Sometimes it is a bit crowded, but we always found a spot in short walking distance. We loved our stay at porta pim, thank you very much!

Host was nice and was accommodating - bringing a technician to fix a broken A/C unit. It was also in a pretty central location in Horta with a lot of restaurants and a beach (and other water activities) close by.

I think our biggest let-down was the lack of a view. Based on the pictures, we expected the apartment to have a view of the coast - especially given the location being on a bay. Unfortunately, the pictures are better than reality - there's some false advertising here. A few things in the apartment were in disarray; the hairdrier had glue all over it, the shower-head was broken, the A/C didn't function, etc.

The wooden concept of the room, the location being close to center and Porto Pim beach, kitchen well equipped

We didn't have the room cleaned every day, towels not changed daily, staff not present in the location, no parking and difficult to find a parking, no washing machine in the room, access only by stairs - slippery because of the rain, no view from the room.
