NOTHING!!! This is definitely not an executive apartment. When we arrived we had to find the key inside a metal bar that is left in the allocated parking space that is not even marked properly. After all that once in the apartment we found out that the pillows and duvets where absolutely filthy and no covers on or proper bedding for any of the beds. The mattresses where extremely uncomfortable and old and the sofa was filthy with marks all over. The dust was everywhere and instead of enjoying the city we lost many hours cleaning so just we could stay. When we moved 1 of the beds to clean there was a little button bag with suspicious contents (beloved to be drugs) and then as we got to the balcony we was a half smoked weed rol. In the visit bathroom the shower is freezing cold and no hot water all. The blinds all over the apartment are cover in dust and haven’t clearly been cleaned in years. The walls and the pans where shockingly filthy as well. We cleaned and didn’t complain because we where heading to a wedding party after 2 days and did r have time for it. On the last day one of my friends went to throw away the bin and lost the key that’s provided, 1 key for 4 people. Although the downstairs key was useless because the building door was kept constantly open due to lock fail. We advised the host that we lost the key and how much would they charge for a new one. After days and days insisting we got a ridiculous answer that the key would cost the same amount as out deposit as they where making is a favour as the key would cost £250 (£200 deposit gone) This place is just disgusting and the host is a joke. AVOID PLEASE.

good location and spacious

no toilet roll or toiletries. very little tableware such as bowls and plates, we had to eat cereal out of a saucepan. the owner then message: after the stay saying we had damaged the property from having a party. we had not. after messaging booking.com they said the owners are charging us £100 for additional cleaning . we left around 20 beer bottles and cans next to the sink with the odd takeaway box left on the tables. this did not warrant £100 in cleaning. the owner refused to show us the video they supposedly took of the mess after I asked it to be sent or emailed to myself.

was ideal for what we was doing as it was a good location to get to Chelmsford.

we messaged the property before asking if there was any towels and toilet roll and cleaning stuff or if we needed to get any. they said everything is there. we arrived. towels but no toilet roll or cleaning stuff. messaged in, they replied saying they would fix it for us. didn’t get fixed and didn’t reply until the next day. it wasn’t very fresh as we arrived. there was a weird smell coming from all the rooms. communication wasn’t very good as they don’t reply until for hours or no reply at all.

The location for us was perfect, just 10 mins walk from Brentwood high street and station. Despite recent reviews, the property was clean, and although next to train lines, the noise did not impact sleep and trains stopped around 11pm anyway. The property is a good size and loving area was fine for 4 adults and 2 under 2’s.

Check in was difficult, it took ages to find the parking bay and the actual building. It would have helped if a map was provided in advance, but the contact did what they could over the phone and we got there in the end. I think the property could have had a few more things to make stays easier including more basics like mugs (only 3), tea towels (only 1) and hand towels in bathrooms. These are easy and cheap fixes that would have made stay better. Bigger issues were the flooring in the bedrooms, first impressions count, and the first thing you see is old floor tiles in the bedrooms which are a bit stained. New carpets would transform the property. It was also very hot when we arrived. During the summer it would be great if you had some fans or something like that, especially as with trains you won’t want windows open. However despite this we would stay again.
