The yard, the lake, the kitchen, the basement are perfect for the large family.

This house was lovely and was a positive experience on the inside, BUT, the whole point of renting a lake house is to be able to enjoy the outdoors and the lake. This house's yard was overgrown, tall grass, bushes and weeds overflowing the walk paths, and got cut the day before we left so we didn't have time to enjoy the beautifully cut space. Also, there is no sidewalk or path to the dock, which is partially blocked by a hedge of bushes, so it wasn't clear all week that it belonged to this property. After the grass was finally cut, we ventured through the grass and realized the dock probably belonged to the property. It too was not in great condition. Lots of cobwebs and the ladder into the water was really wobbly and unsafe to use. The cushioned dock furniture was molded and the other furniture was weak to sit in. The sandy entrance to the water has not been maintained and weeds are growing through the sand. I would not let my kids play in it. The worst were the bath towels. They were small, old and felt like burlap. That was awful as we had to rub our bodies with those. We could stay out of the grass but all the towels were pitiful and of poor quality for an expensive lake house such as this. We rent lake houses from vacasa often, and this experience by far was the worst, especially given the amount we paid to rent a lake house. And, the time we had to spend sending pictures to vacasa to explain/prove the problems took valuable time out of our vacation days. Vacasa should inspect your own properties instead of asking the renters to do it. I wouldn't stay here again.

This is a nice house in a quiet setting. The house is in need of some TLC and maintenance and some parts of the house are in need of a thorough cleaning. I can get past the wear and tear, you can expect that in a rental. The house is very kid friendly with lots of toys for young children as well as baby needs. We had a great family vacation!

The house is great with lots of room. The majority of the inside of the home was clean. The basement had dirt and bugs that needed to be cleaned prior to stay. The only uncomfortable bed was the upstairs queen bed. It creaked every time you moved. The outside needed maintenance. The grass was not cut, the bush’s were all overgrown and we really could not swim off the dock. The outside pictures in the listing do not really look like that. This was really disappointing because it could be a fantastic property. Overall we did enjoy our stay and had a great time with family and friends.

We have never been to Lake Anna before and we’re looking for a Spring Break getaway with the kids. The location was amazing, right on the lake, we hired 2 double kayaks and a paddle board and were out on the water every day. The kids fished from the pontoon and we caught about 14 fish between the 4 kids, the had a blast. The house itself was perfect, plenty of space and the kids had something to do at all times….. ping pong, pool, poker, board games…. It really was a great stay packed with lots of family time. Family time was a lot more prevalent as the internet was non-existent, it was a plus for our family. But that just speaks to the nature of the remoteness of the location, it was wonderful and we will be back for sure.

Although the location was amazing, there were a few issues with the property which made our stay not very welcomed.
1. The internet connection was extremely slow and unreliable, which it impossible for us to do remote work, or even watch a movie - streaming wasn’t available, and the only option would have been expensive trying to buy from DirectTV.
2. The dishwasher was broken and we had to constantly wash dishes manually - not what I’m looking for when getting on vacation.
3. The house was poorly cleaned, full of dust and the floors full of loose dirt, to include rugs. The garage was border line filthy.
4. The kitchen trash can was broken.
5. The pool sticks all had tips broken off so we had to go get superglue and try fix them.
6. One of patio wicker chairs fell apart when we sat in it.
7. Lots of bugs and spiders in the basement bedroom, perhaps treating the perimeter with pesticide would be helpful.
8. The garage door doesn’t lock.
9. VRBO reached out to the owner for a refund for all the inconveniences- crickets.

Very clean home with many amenities. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It's a bit of a downhill walk to the dock, but very manageable for most.

We loved our stay at your home. The cove and this portion of the lake is super quiet. We were able to kayak in the middle of the channel anytime we wanted. Our little one loved the little beach area. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed. Lots of games available, beds are comfortable. Only drawback is poor Wi-Fi in the home. Also very little cellphone coverage with both AT&T and Verizon. Other than internet, Highly recommend.

Great Short Winter Getaway
Property was nice, plenty of space to spread out and let kids hang out. House was stocked with plenty of games and extra bonus with essentials like paper towels, soaps, etc.

We went with 15 friends to Footloose and the house had everything we needed.
The ping pong table and pool tables were perfect for our night time entertainment and the lake and dock were great for the day.

Fun lake house with lots of space
Great place to unwind with a lot of space (that pool table in the basement got a lot of use!). My 4-year old loved all the kids' toys and stuffed animals, as well as the tiny "beach" down by the lake. Earlier reviews mentioned problems with the WiFi but we didn't have any issues.

Great location tucked away for a family stay
We had a great time here and loved how private it was; such a pretty view. We were there during the winter, so we couldn’t enjoy the water, but we took lovely walks and had a lot of fun playing in the yard.

Everything was here to get us started for a great time at the lake. We were a family of 10 and we were never bored! The house is lovely and very well-equipped. We hope to come back next year!

House was very comfortable for our family of 6. Nice place on the lake and had a nice little beach area and in a no wake zone for the kids to play. The house is a little older and yard/deck could use some maintenance. The internet was out for our stay and the cell service isn’t great in this location. But overall we really enjoyed the home.

We had a great time! The house was just as described. The kitchen was especially well appointed for cooking. Only negatives were very limited cell service and WiFi was Inop the entire time!

Spacious but not 5 star
Home is spacious and accommodating for a large group. Beds are comfortable and bed linens were clean. Plenty of space outside for dogs, kids, games, etc. We enjoyed the little beach and water access. However, the house fell short on the following: cleanliness not to my standards (countertops not thoroughly cleaned), outside amenities filthy (boat dock, outside dining tables/chairs, basement level porch swings). We did some cleaning of the dock ourselves and killed a wasps nest. All decking needs maintained and decor needs updating. Vacasa did not leave a good impression since there is no way to get in touch with them (they sent an email that stated not to call or email, but instead to use the Vacasa app-but never sent a code to access the app). The owner was very responsive when emailed with questions prior to arriving. However, I feel that it is the rental agency's responsibility to be in contact after arrival. Had a good time with family, but would not return to this property for the rental price charged.

This is a really nice property with so much potential to be far greater. Overall we had the best weather & our kids all enjoyed the pool table, playing blackjack and hanging out on the dock & screened in porch!
